Prior to Emilie's disappearance and their different paths as Miraculous holders unknown to Adrien, Gabriel hid one more secret: the secrets of his true birth story. As he was never told by them that they used the Peaco*ck Miraculous to make him which by using the jewel he indirectly was the cause of everything but nonetheless grew up with his father's love. Most likely he was never told the truth because his father not only because he didn't want him to be caught in the crossfire but not to feel guilty about what he was going to do.

While loving his father and doing what he can to please him, like modeling for him, Adrien was disappointed in how little time his father spent with him. This made him very pleased on the rare occasions in which he does something nice for him, being grateful for the scarf from Gabriel (unaware that it's actually from Marinette) that he got for his birthday. Their relationship wasn't good, but his response to the Bubbler's complaint about parents indicates, he knew not all parents are like Gabriel. Adrien acknowledged in "Adrien's Double Life" that his father changed ever since his mother disappeared (implying that Gabriel may have not always been cold and distant towards him) and tries to be there for him, even if it's difficult with his aloof behavior. Sometimes, he disobeyed his father's orders, like in "The Puppeteer", when he snuck out to go to the cinema without his bodyguard knowing and in "Origins" when he goes to school despite Gabriel forbidding it. In another case of rebellion, he took the Miraculous Spellbook from his father in "Volpina", which he got punished for in "The Collector" by being banned from school. His reaction to his father revoking the ban, thanks to Marinette returning it (unbeknownst to him), is giving him a hug out of gratefulness.

In "Gorizilla", Adrien attempted to ask his father to watch a movie starring his mother, but being told of his availability through Nathalie, frustrated and drove him to sneak out of the house to watch it. However, when he returned home, Gabriel played the movie for him being told that he just had to ask, replying that he tried, but Gabriel was too busy for and talk to him. His father told him that it's important that they trust each other, Adrien agreed. In "Captain Hardrock" though Adrien is initially upset with his father when he doesn't allow him to go to his friends' concert, he eventually played a duet on the piano with him and hugged him after Gabriel allowed him to meet up with them. He happily hugged him when he appeared at the fashion show in "Queen Wasp".

Adrien joined his father on his trip to Shanghai in "Miraculous Shanghai". He expected his father to tell him to stay in the hotel but, to his surprise, got his permission to see the city.

During "Stormy Weather 2" when Adrien believed that his father hadn't changed, he was reminded by Plagg of all things his father him let do. With that, Adrien agreed that his father had changed to some degree. In "Félix" while spending time with him, Adrien informs his father that he's been noticing how close he and Nathalie are getting.

Coming home, Adrien was told by his father in "Glaciator 2", that even though he's been despondent lately they could always talk.

He got his fear of exclusion from his father as he mentioned in "Adrien's Double Life", that he modeled for him but only to make his father happy and to stay to close to him. As well as because of him, even though he did it Adrien still hated living in a life of exclusion and not seeing anyone said in "Glaciator 2", as he didn't want to be like him.

In "Risk", he didn't like the idea that his father was sending off on a several month vacation to promote his company. However while under the effects of Risk, he truly hated that his father constantly ignored him and with a little help from Marinette and Kagami, he tried to find the courage to tell Gabriel his real feelings but heading back to see that his father wasn't home.

Because of him being kept in the dark about his father's actions, he unknowingly picked up his traits like stubbornness and desperation boarding obsession. As they both wanted those they loved in their lives but ignored or didn't take consequences as seriously as they should. But on a brighter side, Adrien has a deeper compassion and love for others as he doesn't want to hurt others to get what he wants. If or when he does it (unintentionally) unlike his father he takes responsibility for it in "Santa Claws", "Weredad" and "Miraculous New York". More than ever in "Strikeback", when he truly saw the damage of desperately giving into one's personal desires.

Even more so, without knowing it yet, Adrien also unintentionally through the problem he partially created he inherited his parent's problems. Realizing that his friends were right he told his father that he doesn't want to model anymore and was surprised that he agreed. Adrien found out that his father did it by using a hologram of him. Not liking that his image on the alliance ring created by his father, he decides not to use it. Before Emilie disappeared they were close and was happy that they could be again spending time together in the kitchen by having breakfast.

Adrien was approached by his father in "Transmission", saddened about being rejected by the girl he loved and given an Alliance ring. Unaware that his father used it as an opportunity to akumatize him and yet being filled with hope caused him to choose a different target. Then in "Deflagration", Adrien met his enemy in person as a civilian for the first time hearing about Monarch being surrounded by giant crater and having Ladybug's earrings on the news making him know that the kwamis were in danger. Like his friends, Adrien rushed to aid Ladybug against the mastermind and once Monarch preoccupied he swooped in and took the earrings back while they shared menacing glances at each other.

As his relationship with Marinette blossomed, Adrien was aware that his father didn't approve of it trying to drive them apart as well as have his son get back with Kagami. He also ordered him not to have any kind of relationship with Marinette in "Protection", only for Nathalie to counter-order it. In "Adoration", he tried to order Adrien to give up on having him go to the end-of-the-school-year dance with Marinette, only to back down when Nathalie used his own promise against him and at the episode's end, ordered Adrien not to kiss Marinette when she finally worked up the courage to tell him that she loved him. In "Emotion", he was forbade by Gabriel from telling his girlfriend about the Diamond's Dance to which he did despite that he tried to set up a talk between him and Marinette but remained submissive; the same when he wanted to stay in the kitchen while his father and Marinette talk but is ordered by his father to go to his room instead.

In his father's most desperate bid to separate them in "Pretension", Adrien was angry about being sent to London after the school year is over but unknown to him in "Revelation", his father's secrets were stolen by Lila. He worried about how Marinette will react about his father sending him to London in "Confrontation" and in "Collusion", with Nathalie placing her hand over his, he makes it clear that he hates the idea. But in "Revolution", Gabriel made good on his promise and ordered Adrien to get ready. In the car, he tearfully pleaded with his father one last time not to send him to London. Gabriel rebutted this; falsely claiming it's what his mother would have wanted. Adrien denied it and surely knowing his mother would have wanted him to be happy. Adrien tried to escape but since the doors are locked, he gives up and finally told Marinette about London. Before his flight took off, Marinette rushed to the airport on her scooter and they share their first kiss before they are forcibly separated. In "Representation", Adrien took a chance and disobeyed his father to return to Marinette to be with her again. Little did he know his escape caused his father to akumatize himself as Nightormentor in order to find him and that after his defeat, it would be the last time he see his father in his superhero form. At the episode's end, he's locked up in a white cell after returning to London.

In "Conformation" while in his cell, Adrien receives an Alliance ring with a message about the Perfect Alliance app, he angrily throws it calling his father insane. As he's mad that his father separated him from Marinette, sent him to London, used his image in the Alliance rings to fool everyone, and that made him feel disgusted. Sadly, he had no idea how truly insane and really hurt his father was not only using his image to lie but using his desires and feelings towards him as justification to hurt everyone.

In "Re-creation (The Final Day - Part 2)", Adrien was kept in the dark about his father being Monarch, as Gabriel's final wish, instead believing that his father died helping Ladybug defeat Monarch, not knowing how he'll manage to be like him in the future.

Unbeknownst to Adrien, despite knowing his father had changed it was for the worse as his father actually has a secret identity as his greatest enemy: Hawk Moth. In "Stoneheart (Origins - Part 2)", Cat Noir and Ladybug are introduced to him when akumas form a large version of his head while they are fighting Stoneheart at the Eiffel Tower. He fully knows that he is behind the akumas and supervillains. Adrien always works hard to stop him from winning and taking his and Ladybug's Miraculous.

Ladybug's theory that Gabriel is Hawk Moth devastates Adrien in "The Collector". Although skeptical at first, he recognizes the strength in Ladybug's evidence. He was fooled by his father's trick of transforming into the Collector, feeling relieved that his father isn't his greatest enemy as Cat Noir.

During "Heroes' Day", Cat Noir saw Hawk Moth commence his biggest plan yet. He isn't afraid, confident that they can defeat him. When he and Ladybug backed him into a corner, he didn't want to hear anything about his wish, knowing chaos would ensue, implying that, like Ladybug, he is aware of Hawk Moth's mistake but is unaware of what it is.

From Ladybug, Cat Noir heard that an akuma and Hawk Moth were in Shanghai. He joined her and Ladydragon in cornering him but saw his enemy akumatize the Prodigious's guardian Mei Shi. After Hawk Moth's demise, he was shocked, asking if that was good or bad news implying that, like Ladybug, he wanted his actions to be justified but in prison. But was unaware that his own father was eradicated by the very minion that was supposed to help him.

He fought Hawk Moth again in "Ladybug", calling him a "Real Monster" when he mocks and shows no sympathy towards the Ladybug sentimonster. When caught by him, Cat Noir invokes his Cataclysm to protect his ring but is thrown off the building, unaware that it was done by his own father. Upon meeting him once more in "Battle of the Miraculous", he doesn't take to Hawk Moth's taunting when he akumatizes Chloé into Miracle Queen and has the Miracle Box. Seeing him flee with Mayura, Cat Noir chases after them but lost sight of them.

In the alternate future in "Cat Blanc", Adrien was devastated when Marinette ended their relationship, but during an akuma incident despite saving her, he unknowingly revealed his identity to his father. Some time later, he and Ladybug reached a point where they cornered Hawk Moth in his lair. However, upon discovering his identity and the reason for his actions, he had a breakdown because he was torn between his family and his beloved. He ended up being akumatized into Cat Blanc and destroyed all of Paris, including his father and girlfriend, among other devastation. Due to Ladybug fixing her mistake, the timeline that involves his father's demise was erased.

It's also likely that it wasn't only the pull between his loved ones that caused his akumatization but the guilt Adrien felt towards himself for his obliviousness in the depths of his father's pain and as well as many other emotions he felt because of his father's actions.

Upon noticing that akumatized villains were being paired up with sentimonsters, Cat Noir was aware that Hawk Moth is using the Peaco*ck Miraculous despite his archenemy going under the alias Shadow Moth, the hero still remained confident that he and Ladybug will defeat him. In "Sentibubbler", Cat Noir meets Shadow Moth and captured by his sentimonster while unknown to him that his own father used him as ransom in an attempt to lure Ladybug out. After seeing his plan was foiled and their enemy flee, Cat Noir knew they'll have another chance to stop him. In "Dearest Family", he found out that Shadow Moth overpowered Ladybug's Magical Charms by creating Megakumas. After Ladybug's outburst about his flirty behavior as Cat Noir in "Glaciator 2", Adrien's emotional distress didn't go unnoticed by Shadow Moth and was almost akumatized by his own father. In "Ephemeral", once again he discovers the truth about his parents and is akumatized by his father into helping him but thanks to Sass using Second Chance the knowledge is erased.

In "Strikeback", without knowing it as Cat Noir, he witnessed Shadow Moth create his deadliest plan yet, first he was infected by Risk and forced into making mistakes. Even though, he and his friends defeated the sentimonster despite it all (thanks to his cousin's betrayal and them switching places) he unintentionally helped Hawk Moth (his father) steal all Miraculouses from Ladybug. With his archenemy nearly having them all he was filled more determination than ever to stop him.

In "Evolution", despite his archenemy calling himself Monarch, Cat Noir still didn't yield to his tyranny. But then seeing a time version of themselves and Bunnyx's appearance he quickly figured out that Monarch couldn't wait to his powers against them starting with the Rabbit Miraculous. Through various time jumps as Rabbit Noir, he saw Monarch's overuse of the kwamis powers took it's toll on him. With both Alix's help and playing on his greed, he and Ladybug were able to secure the Rabbit Miraculous. But seeing Monarch escape, he took pleasure in a small victory knowing they'll stop him in time.

Knowing of Ladybug's plan to rescue the kwamis in "Destruction", they manage to trap Monarch in the wax museum. Despite readying a Cataclysm and knowing about the damage his archenemy caused Cat Noir only used it as a means of intimidation to assure Monarch's surrender. But he's horrified when the villain forced him to use it damaging his forearm even calling him crazy. Since he took Ladybug's lucky charm object she couldn't heal him leaving Cat Noir devastated that he permanently harmed him unaware he was forced to hurt his own father.

Weeks go by since then and Cat Noir notices that Monarch has been silent until Ikari Gozen appears. Through fighting her he learns that Monarch was able to give Miraculous superpowers to his villains without giving the jewels away. Unaware that he turned the Miraculouses into rings and through his alliance rings he transferred the powers to his villains. When that looked like a possibility in "Illusion", by the Resistance, Adrien hesitantly agrees with the plan as Cat Noir but ends the same way as "The Collector" being right but tricked.

When Monarch through the Darker Owl's power of Gift forced Cat Noir to live his greatest desire in a dream. Then being woken up he was extremely mad at the villainous pair for tricking him to the point of using cataclysm on the villain but regained his composure.

Before he made the swap in "Passion", Adrien unknowingly had the same desire as his father to heal someone they cared about from their afflictions. However unlike him, he didn't hastily use the power and asked for Ladybug's permission but hearing the true consequences he declines his idea. As Mister Bug, he calls Monarch a monster for akumatizing Nathalie in her condition. Soon in "Elation", by making Marinette's feelings vulnerable he gave the villain an opportunity to akumatize her but by kissing her the hero also unintentionally revealed his feelings for her.

Unknown to him, it turned out Cat Noir was right to feel bad about inflicting Monarch with his cataclysm as he continued in his endavors to stop him his power started to spread through Monarch's body as necrosis driving the villain mad to steal his and Ladybug's powers. From "Intuition", after sitting on a roof top with Ladybug, he wondered why the mastermind didn't use the Snake Miraculous against them yet, but were happy that Monarch didn't unaware that due to the Snake Miraculous' power their memory was erased only making them see the final reality but thanks to his unpredictably and Ladybug's adaptability it saw them through. But worst of all, misusing Second Chance acceralated the damage done to him shortening his father's lifespan.

In "Representation", still angry at his father and himself but wanting to fight for Marinette, Adrien steeled himself to do the one thing he could think of: telling her his identity. As Astro Cat, he flew back to Paris to look for her but that would have to wait as he had to protect her from his akumatized father. And poured out his frustration for his alterego while fighting his dad and yet, when hit by the nightmare plague his is about him being akumatized, destroying everything even Marinette devastated he nearly surrendered his ring to Monarch but thanks to the Resistance he pulled through. Afterwards Cat Noir still steeled himself to tell Marinette his identity but with the nightmares still there he realized she wouldn't be safe if he told, he sadly returned to London.

In the "Last Day", noticing that Monarch hacked the alliance rings and plagued everyone around the world with nightmares turning them into his personal army to hunt him, Ladybug and their allies down. With the world in such as a serious crisis but with Adrien unable to escape and not in the right state of mind to help; with no choice he sent Plagg and his ring to Ladybug and the people he loved in hope that Monarch would be defeated.

Her wishes were for him to be free, have control over his life, be able to make his own decisions, be protected, and more than anything, she just wanted him to be happy and create his own vision of happiness. Unknown if he was ever showed those the tapes after she disappeared

His father has said that Adrien and his mother are very much alike. Adrien mentioned in another Instagram picture that his mother used to help him overcome his fear of thunder when he was little. In "Feast", he was aware that his mother had dizzy spells (unknown to him that it was the result of her using the damaged Peaco*ck Miraculous) before she disappeared but took pleasure when she made him laugh in a way only Plagg could do through playing the piano.

It is clear that Adrien intensely loved his mother and missed her very much. However, he believed Emilie has simply disappeared, unaware she is being kept in a repository underneath the Agreste mansion. He had many pictures of her on his phone, and one is his computer background. Adrien misses her during Christmas because it is his first Christmas without her and he becomes depressed. His memory of her was the only thing that stops him from using his Cataclysm on an outdoor Christmas tree. Adrien sneaks out of the house in "Gorizilla" to see a rare film she starred in, taking off his disguise in awe of seeing her on screen.

In an alternate future of "Cat Blanc" after cornering Hawk Moth, as Cat Noir, he saw his mother again but has a breakdown as to why his father did this. However, being forced to choose between the two women he loves causes his akumatization into the titular villain, and he destroys all of Paris including everyone in it. Due to Ladybug fixing her mistake, the timeline that involves his mother's demise was erased.

In "Ephemeral", he once again discovered the truth about his mother but with Sass' power the discovery was erased. It seems that his desire to protect everyone comes from the regret of him being unable to do so for her. Unknown to him, just like his mistake in the Season 4 finale, Adrien also inherited his parent's mistake.

Similar to his father, Adrien was devastated about her disappearance but unlike his dad, he didn't let it make him spiral into endless grief and madness, knowing that his mother would want him to be happy even with her gone. Through her, he turned it into his desire to make new friends and an extreme desire to protect them so he doesn't lose them like his mother as Cat Noir. When he is put into a situation where his friends are hurt or missing, Adrien reacts with extreme anger and sadness in "Hack-San" and "Emotion" as he is reminded of his mother.

To further honor his mother, upon getting the Cat Miraculous Adrien decided to call himself Cat Noir the name of the hero in a story his mother use to read to him when he was little.

Adrien and Félix happened to be very close during their childhood, but as seen in "Félix" their relationship has become weaker and it is revealed that Adrien did not attend Félix father's funeral because his father refused to allow him. Later on, Félix takes his clothes and phone to impersonate him and insult his friends, which leads to Alya, Juleka, and Rose getting akumatized. Despite the trouble he caused, Adrien was determined to save him as his alter ego. After, Félix apologizes to Adrien, claiming he is his favorite cousin, and stating that he is really lucky to have him.

In "Gabriel Agreste", he reunites with his cousin again but he was back to his old tricks leading to his father's akumatization again (unaware that it was sentimonster) but managed to save him.

In "Risk", Adrien was surprised to see Félix in his room saying that he was here to help him get out of his predicament despite not wanting his help he reluctantly agreed to his cousin's plan to switch places however with a little push from Kagami he tried to convince Félix to call it off but when he refused Adrien realized he was duped by his cousin. Unaware that Félix used his predicament to see the full extent of what his father hiding. In "Strikeback", to make matters worse he faced the full wrath of his cousin's trick after the battle by playing on both of Adrien's desires, he found out his cousin's identity as the Dog Miraculous holder; Félix betrayed Ladybug, by stealing her yo-yo along with the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses inside, then trades it as well as one of the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings away for the Peaco*ck Miraculous to Shadow Moth.

With that in mind it's likely similar to Chloé, Adrien is hurt, confused and angry towards his cousin's betrayal for why he did it, adding more stress for Ladybug, for endangering his loved ones even more, for making their jobs a lot harder as well as jeopardizing the duo's (him and Ladybug) relationship. And yet, because of Félix's betrayal Adrien may be given the impression that his cousin doesn't care about him or anyone and also a hint about the true darkness that hides in his family.

After Monarch's appearance, from Ladybug as Cat Noir; he found out that she confused Félix for him, and he saw noticed that all the jewels came from her yoyo allowing to him to steal it even more that he could be in league with Monarch. Horrified by his cousin's behavior they journeyed to London to talk with his mother afterwards the hero began to suspect that Felix was another victim but was unsure of what to think about him. Returning home, Adrien reminisces about their earlier conversation but with anger and believed that Felix was a bad influence and shouldn't have listened to him.

Unaware that just like "The Collector", Ladybug was right, Félix was home but his mother was hiding him.

In "Emotion", Adrien knows of Félix's identity as the Peaco*ck Miraculous holder Argos. He foolishly became his cousin's first victim, upon returning he was confused at what Félix had done. When Félix explained his actions in "Strikeback" and decided to use the Peaco*ck Miraculous' power to create a world for him and others like him: one where they were free from oppressors. But, Adrien was furious demanding that he return everyone back, upon seeing the trueness of the world Félix had created. His views about freedom were different from Argos as he couldn't be happy without those he loved but when he followed him to where he hid Marinette only to find her gone. Adrien's anger towards him grew that he couldn't bring her back believing he couldn't control his powers, still fuming he demanded that Argos undo what he did to which the holder complies. Despite it still not seeing Marinette anywhere he demanded Félix to tell him where she was but seeing her safe and sound he was relieved unaware that Félix shamefully fled the scene.

Unknown to him, both he and Félix thought the same way using the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses to create a better world however Adrien was more understanding and compassionate than his cousin who needed action and to see the outcome of his mistakes.

However Adrien had no idea how much he and his cousin were alike as it wasn't only him that was created through the Miraculous but Felix too making them both sentibeings and like his parents; mostly Felix never told him although it's unknown if he did while trying to help him escape or not let alone about the abuse he suffered at the hands of his uncle Colt.

As Cat Noir in "Félix", despite his cousin's action Adrien was determined to save him and upon meeting him he called him out for his behavior. When the fight between the heroes and villains ended in a three way crossfire, like Ladybug the hero glared at Félix as he was willing to trade his Miraculous to the enemy.

In "Strikeback (Shadow Moth's Final Attack - Part 2)", when Cat Noir meets his superhero alter ego: Flairmidable, he doesn’t see eye to eye with him and finds that he isn't comfortable with him and Ladybug. Despite Ladybug trying to make them get along by getting them to shake their hands due to their Miraculouses being a Cat and Dog.

In "Pretension", at first, he was surprised to hear that Félix was back and that he kidnapped Kagami, but nonetheless, he shared Ladybug's intention of saving her and retrieving the Peaco*ck Miraculous. Finding Félix detransformed in the sewers, the heroes made their move, but seeing Kagami rush to his defense and about him being misunderstood, Cat Noir was confused unable to make sense of what happened. Regardless he defends him and Kagami from the titular villain, then was surprised at Ladybug's proposal to trust Félix after Kagami defends him but does not object and lets him escape with the Peaco*ck miraculous. He's disappointed at this but along with Ladybug, hopes they made the right choice implying that he still hasn't completely forgiven him for his actions.

In "Re-creation", Cat Noir forgives Argos as he redeemed himself and joined the French Miraculous Superhero Team.

Adrien and Marinette first meet in "Ladybug and Cat Noir" as their superhero alter-egos. Cat Noir is incredibly impressed by her wits and skill in combat. When she felt guilty about her mistake in the next episode, he encouraged her to try again. He was even pleasantly surprised when she gave a speech to all of Paris after defeating Hawk Moth's akumas and when she managed to defeat Stoneheart, save Mylène from falling and capture the akuma all at once.

In "Stoneheart", he also meets Marinette in her civilian form at school, but he doesn't make a good first impression: Marinette thinks he was trying to stick a piece of chewing gum on her seat when he was trying to remove it, Chloé being the true culprit. Marinette is deeply offended, but he makes up with her the next day at the end of the episode when Adrien gently explains the truth and kindly offers his umbrella to her while it was raining, smiling warmly at her. In response to this, Plagg jokingly teases him, saying that he has a crush on her. Adrien brushes it off, responding that she's "just a friend" very happily, as he had made one by himself for the first time.

Adrien likes Marinette as a friend and is totally oblivious to her feelings for him, which is shown when he tries to set her up with Nino in "Animan." He thinks she is a fantastic artist, occasionally showing signs of affection towards her. If she needs help or encouragement, he gives it to her, despite noticing how awkward she acts around him sometimes and can tell that she is a good person. In later episodes, such as "The Mime", "Kung Food" and "Gamer", they have more interactions, and Adrien treats her like a good friend, being very supportive and friendly to her. He sees Marinette as a very sweet person due to making him a Christmas hat gift in "Santa Claws". In "Despair Bear", he defends Marinette when Chloé accuses her of calling the fire department, knowing she'd never do something like that, especially during her father's lesson. He later asks Marinette to slow dance while at Chloé's party. When the party ends, he comments that her baking is as good as her dancing. During "Befana", he tells Marinette that he takes her good luck charm bracelet with him everywhere he goes. In "Riposte", he partners up with her in fencing and accepts her compliment that he is handsome. He patiently shows her the correct fencing position and explains the rules. He later notes to Kagami that he likes Marinette, calling her a very good friend and, despite her being clumsy sometimes, she's also nice, honest, and fair, trusting she would never cheat. Also, in "Gorizilla" he thanks Marinette for helping him hide from fans on his way to the movie theater and tells her about his mother starring in the film.

During "Troublemaker", he is curious why Marinette has pictures of him in her bedroom after the live footage of her room from Fill My Shoes is aired. When he confronts her, she clarifies it is because of her love of fashion. He teases her about it and invites her to one of his photo shoots. He admits to Marinette that he's glad to have her as a fan (though in the French dub he calls her a friend instead of a fan). It has been somewhat implied that Adrien is now aware of Marinette's feelings for him, which has been confirmed by Jeremy Zag.^[1]

During "Style Queen" when Marinette acted very nervous about her derby hat, Adrien believed in her, knowing her design was great if his father picked her as the winner. He encouraged her to be proud of her design and was happy for her when she had the opportunity to go to New York with Audrey. In "Malediktator", he was upset with her because she was celebrating Chloé's angry and unhappy departure from Paris. Since Chloé was his only friend when he was growing up, he couldn't feel joy over her leaving. In "Frozer", he sought Marinette's advice about romance. When she mentioned the ice rink, Adrien asked her to come with him, and seeing her sad, he went to check on her. After the ordeal, he was approached by Marinette, who asked if he'd like to go to the ice rink again, bringing the whole gang with them. He agreed and would work on freeing his schedule.

In "Catalyst", he told her that his father allowed him to go to her tasting. He was disappointed when she didn't have enough pastries for him but was told she had plenty of them. He was also told it was cool if he could make it, and then he smiled and walked inside the school alongside her. He and Marinette were shocked when Rose showed them the news about Cat Noir being defeated and Ladybug being akumatized. And more so when three villains announced Scarlet Moth's name on the news. Then, Scarlet akumas flew into the school akumatizing Rose, Ivan, Mylène, Alix, Kim, Sabrina and Max. Juleka resisted it by being brave, then saved himself and Marinette from being akumatized. In "Mayura", he was so impressed with Marinette's kindness that he called her their everyday Ladybug and "Super Marinette". He was surprised when he received a thank you kiss on the cheek from her which made him smile and said "you're welcome" to her.

During their trip to Shanghai in "Miraculous Shanghai", Adrien was surprised that Marinette was there, too. And heard from her uncle that she was out and, like her friends, was used to Marinette being late. When Wang got worried, he went to look for her. After she was found, he celebrated her uncle's birthday with her and, upon hearing that her Chinese wasn't very good, he offered to teach her.

In "Chameleon", he and Marinette knew the truth about Lila's lying. After he walked into the classroom, he smiled at her. And yet was a little shocked when she looked away but smiled regardless as he walked up to the desk beside her. Telling Marinette that it was a good idea for her to take the high road, briefly sat beside her and liked being in the back. After Lila was de-akumatized, he saw Marinette's attempt to expose her, but told her that humiliating someone isn't the right way to set them straight.

During their trip to the wax museum in "Puppeteer 2", Adrien got the impression from Nino that Marinette may hate him. Not wanting to lose her friendship, he tried to find a way to make her comfortable around him but went the wrong way about it. He pretended to be a wax figurine, but ended with hurting Marinette's feelings. On their way home, he apologized for tricking her and was happy they could still be friends, even enough to tell her that he is in love with another girl. In "Stormy Weather 2", after defeating Stormy Weather again, Adrien returned home and was given his school work along with a note from Marinette. Upon inspecting it, he saw that her handwriting was the same as on the Valentine card, deducing that it was from someone at school. He found it strange that it came from Marinette, remembering all the times she acted nervous around him but brushed it off remembering her love of fashion.

Because of their free hour, Adrien helps Marinette with a photoshoot for her website in "Reflekdoll" until the titular villain attacks. Catching up with her, he told her to hide in the car but sees her get struck by Reflekta. After her defeat, he resumes helping Marinette and friends finish the shoot. During "Desperada", Adrien was surprised when she chose him to be Jagged's new guitarist. When Marinette gets expelled from school in "Ladybug", knowing that she would never cheat and steal, he wanted to prove her innocence as well as help her get back in school.

In "Battle for Miraculous", he was happy that Marinette and Kagami were getting along. Seeing her at the anniversary event along with Kagami, Adrien wanted her to escape with them. They had fun together playing in the ball-filled pool on the hotel's roof. During their fun, he was amazed at how Marinette looked with her hair down, calling it beautiful. After escaping the event, he was asked by Marinette if they were going to get in trouble with their parents. He answered that this was one of the few times they got to escape their expectations. After Hawk Moth's defeat, Adrien got ice cream along with her and their friends.

During their Friendship Week stay in New York, Adrien at first was disappointed that he couldn't go, but when he found out that Marinette convinced his father to do so he was extremely grateful towards her. Despite awkward moments between them, he enjoyed spending time with her, such as enjoying the sunset and dancing in the air. However, a huge mishap led to Adrien returning home, he apologized to Marinette for her efforts to get him to New York and wouldn't have minded staying longer with her. During the plane ride home, Adrien received a surprise picture of his friends and smiles.

He continues being friends with Marinette in "Mr. Pigeon 72", surprised to find her at his recent photoshoot but even more so that she kept his umbrella from their second meeting of his first day of school.

They both attend Harry Clown's show, she tried to express her feelings by being funny but seeing her run away disappointed Adrien tried to follow but couldn't because of his bodyguard in "Psycomedian". After Harry is deakumatized, Adrien told Marinette that she is funny in her own way. In "Queen Banana", he had no problem helping her and their class with a movie project. And was aware that some of the things Marinette says don't always make any sense but they aren't mean in "Guiltrip".

In "Optigami", during Style Queen's attack Adrien ends up stuck in the elevator with Marinette in the midst of calling for help he warned her of a pair of eyes watching them curious to know what it was. He meets her at the Career Expo in "Wishmaker", having the same problem as her is about deciding his future.

During "Glaciator 2", he sees Marinette approach him with a gift she attempted to give him to cheer up but seeing her throw it away he was ashamed as it looked nice. Then, after André's deakumatization, he invited her to his fencing tournament.

In "Risk", unlike most people who would be happy about going on a trip around the world, Adrien wasn't preferring to be with his friends especially Marinette. While with her at school and under the effects of Risk, he voiced his true feelings about his father and what he thinks about modelling to her finding comfort that she is only one that understands the real him.

After rescuing Fluff, Adrien realized that Marinette was right about him telling his father the truth. And seeing that it was easy, he starts to realize how special she truly is. Ever since, his feelings towards her began to change and decided to figure out how by returning to the Wax Museum with her on a date admitting in "Determination", that his feelings for her started there ever since their last trip. When left alone with her, he saw that Marinette was flustered again and tried to calm her but was told their relationship won't work. At first believing it's him but she clarifies that it's her being unable to act normal around him causing disasters but he calmly told Marinette that she could tell him anything. Once Manipula was deakumatized, Adrien's romantic feelings towards her grew.

Then, he tries to find ways to express his love for her in "Reunion" and "Passion", even asking her for advice when it came to Nathalie and was happy that she still found a way to lift his spirits. During "Elation", he goes to the Dupain-Cheng bakery to see Marinette, but was disappointed that she didn't want any visitors and sent off with a bag of choquettes. After the whole excursion, Adrien was disappointed again that he couldn't love her with both masks until after gaining insight from Plagg, he wasn't ready to give up yet knowing Marinette's feelings for him would return.

During "Transmission", he tried to admit his feelings to a depressed Marinette only to be disappointed that she didn't return them but when they are freed from their hero duties Adrien tries again returning to the bakery and her once more this time accepting each other's feelings as they watched their successors handle everything just fine. He shares a lunch date with Marinette in "Deflagration", despite Chloé's attempts to ruin it. With his feelings towards Marinette blossoming even more he continues to express them through song in "Perfection".

In "Migration", Adrien sensed she was hiding something and feared how could he love her if he didn't know everything about her but with advice from Luka; he was encouraged to be patient and take his time in learning everything about her as she did with him. Which came into fruition when they had their first official date at the pool in "Derision", seeing Marinette have panic attacks Adrien learned that her behavior towards him was a result of her being of Chloé's constant prank target and her first heartbreak with Kim last year. After Kim is deakumatized, they talked about their fears of being hurt and if they were together then they could control them reaching out his hand to her, she takes it briefly but retracts accepting that she isn't ready yet and calmly replied he'd wait for her.

In "Protection", he played along with his classmates' story attempts to get them together, but feeling uncomfortable Adrien planned to have a picnic with Marinette in his parent's garden. Until it was ruined by an akumatized Kagami that was convinced that Marinette was a manipulator and he rushed to her defense then once their friend was deakumatized they cleared things up. After that he takes things slow with their relationship believing they have all the time in the world.

In "Adoration", Adrien is approached by Marinette finally worked up the courage to tell him her feelings and with him returning them. However despite their dream of being a couple finally coming true but in "Emotion", Adrien is always separated from Marinette as he didn't tell her about the Diamond's dance per his father's orders. After Félix used the Peaco*ck Miraculous to create a free world for those like them, Adrien wasn't happy seeing the city empty nor he couldn't be without those he loved especially Marinette but hearing that she was hidden away before Argos disappeared everyone. Adrien was taken to her hiding spot only shocked to find her gone and when Argos couldn't bring her back he was devastated and angry that she was lost forever. He demanded that Félix restore everyone including her and he was happy to see Marinette safe, hugging her out of relief. The next day, they shared ice cream together and when he voices that his father disapproved them being together she suggested having a talk with Gabriel he'd asks to set one up but remained submissive.

During "Pretension", when the talk between Marinette and his father finally happens, Adrien stayed with her until being told to leave. But after doing so he had mixed feelings about leaving her and yet hearing her stand up to his father as well as always being there for him. He admired her courage however near the end of their video chat Adrien couldn't show the same not having the heart to tell her that his father is separating them by the school year's end. In "Revelation", he rushes to Marinette's defense when Lila as Hoaxer posted lies about her. Finally realizing how much damage Lila's lies have caused Adrien apologized to Marinette for telling her not to act sooner. But she replies that him seeing the kindness in others is what she loved about him and assured him they'd expose her.

However from "Confrontation" to "Revolution", Adrien also discovered what it was like to be Marinette having something important to say but didn't have the heart to out of fear of hurting her or getting interrupted and yet, he was sure about one thing not wanting to be separated from Marinette but after stopping Chloe's tyranny he had to face the harsh reality of it hurtfully telling her over the phone and not being worthy of her love. Just before he leaves, Adrien gives her a tearful goodbye kiss and sadly re-boards the plane for London.

In the "Last Day", after Monarch made his wish, he and Marinette were still together and he was given his parents wedding band with his girlfriend telling him even though he had no idea what to do with his life he had all the time to figure it out.

As Cat Noir, he teams up with Marinette to stop the Evillustrator in the episode of the same name and promises to protect her. He introduces himself in a playful, flirty manner by kissing her hand and trying to show off his muscles. Afterwards, as Adrien, he asks her what she thinks of Cat Noir, and assumes from her jumbled response (which is her trying to say he, Adrien, is cooler) that she thinks he is cool, to his satisfaction. During "Glaciator", disappointed that Ladybug didn't show up for a date he had planned, he decides to stop by Marinette's balcony. Confiding in her that they both are having love problems and cheers her up by showing him his surprise for Ladybug, happy that someone liked it.

His closeness to Marinette is seen again realizing that she was lost in Shanghai in "Miraculous Shanghai", Adrien transformed into Cat Noir hoping he would have an easier time finding her, but realizing that the city was big, he contacted Ladybug to improve his odds. After YanLuoShi's deakumatization, he was happy she was safe and sound.

During "Weredad", after dealing with Gigantitan he suddenly came across Marinette but was surprised when she said she loved him and was invited to have brunch with her family. However, wanting to remain true to his feelings for Ladybug but not wanting to hurt Marinette, Cat Noir confessed that he really wasn't in love with her and was disappointed that he broke her heart (unknown to him that she was happy). He took full responsibility when it led to Tom’s akumatization. Afterwards he was relieved that Marinette was safe, finding her to be an amazing girl, so much that he suspected her to be one of his fans wanting to tell her that earlier he gladly accepted being friends. In Alya's Instagrams, Adrien continues to watch over Marinette's safety as Cat Noir.^[2]

He showed concern for Marinette when she was held hostage by Shadow Moth in "Sentibubbler". Arriving at Alya's house, he was warned by her that Rena was already there with a plan. Curious he asked her how she knew replying she had the best seat in the house. Once the titular sentimonster leaves he gets Marinette's approval to stall him telling her to sit tight and she'll be free soon.

When Cat Noir heard Marinette calling him in "Glaciator 2", at first he thought she needed help but she really needed a partner that could role-play her lover. During the session, he found that her lover's code name was Buttercup unknown it's him in civilian form. When Marinette believes this isn't working Cat knows she's being too hard on herself. Taking a break at the cinema, he hears Marinette admits her problem with guys is worrying about messing up with important ones then spiraling into fantasies hiding herself. Leaving he admits having the opposite problem finding Ladybug so amazing and hard to let go her fearing of disappointing and being hated by her but Marinette retorts that she doesn't.

Returning home, they tried to rehearse again but was interrupted by Glaciator, afterwards she tried again; speaking from the heart Cat Noir found her speech beautiful and wished each other luck in their love endeavors.

In a bid to escape a fan mob and see Marinette, Adrien transforms into Cat Noir in "Elation", despite trying to keep his distance from her. Eyeing her from her balcony, Cat told her that he couldn't stop thinking about her and soon hears that she is the same and overwhelmed with love they go out for ice cream, but the moment is short lived when he is informed by André that she was in love with his alter ego, which Marinette confirms. Also explaining that her romantic pursuit of him caused her to act in the worst ways possible with Cat Noir agreeing the same with his pursuit of Ladybug. When Marinette mentioned that he still had his fans the hero remained unsure believing they wouldn't be there if he was unmasked but retorted that she would and soon they exchanged kisses turning into a passionate one.

However, he soon realized that making her fall in love with a stranger was wrong. Then when Marinette breaks down in sadness about not being able to love who she wants, Cat Noir sadly replies back she could, but he couldn't. Things escalate when her feelings don't go unnoticed by Monarch, seeing her nearly akumatized he encouraged her to fight his influence but out of fear she was giving in he saved her with a kiss but that made things more awkward between them and realize a relationship between them wouldn't work. And with Glaciator on the rampage again he hid somewhere safe and after Andre's deakumatization they reunite on the balcony to where they apologized to each other, but Cat Noir didn't take it too hard as he didn't find it too unbelievable for mistaking idolization for love and yet agreed that Marinette had the desire to love whom ever she wanted with them bidding each other goodnight.

After seeing Hoaxer appear in "Revelation", then Marinette; Cat Noir receives a message from Scarabella thinking it's Ladybug saying she asked for her help with the plan. Seeing her stand up to Lila and convince her to release the akuma the hero continued to admire her courage. After hearing Marinette's traumatized love story by Kim in "Derision", he gave the titular villain a fierce beating and even attempted to use his powers in rage.

In "Representation", still angry at his father and himself but wanting to fight for Marinette, Adrien steeled himself to do the one thing he could think of: telling her his identity. As Astro Cat, he flies backs to Paris to look for her but that would have to wait as he had to protect her from his akumatized father. But after being plagued with nightmares about him being akumatized, destroying everything but most importantly realizing Marinette wouldn't be safe if he told, he sadly returned to London.

However, he has a huge crush on Ladybug. During "Dark Cupid", he tries to write a love poem to her but threw it away. After defeating the titular villain, Adrien was disappointed in himself for the horrible things he said to her but surprised when he finds that someone answered his poem and believes it came from Ladybug (unknown that Marinette is the heroine). He gets lost in Ladybug's beauty every time she's nearby, and when he isn't Cat Noir, even blushing at her on occasion, like during "The Mime" and "Simon Says". In "Volpina", as Cat Noir, he saw how much Ladybug cared for his alter ego commenting that she was irresistibly stubborn. However, once on the ground, Adrien, after being saved in "Gorizilla", almost calls Ladybug "M'lady" in front of everyone before catching himself. His dedication to helping her is so strong he willingly ducked in to save her and even fight along side her with a sprained ankle, seen in "Riposte", or with broken ribs in "Miraculer".

After the titular villain's defeat in "Style Queen", he personally thanked Ladybug for the lift back to Grand Palais and for saving him. Adrien was nervous when he found his hand on her shoulder causing him to stutter.

He finds Ladybug classy and the type who never changes. And briefly discovers that Marinette is Ladybug in "Oblivio". However, after the villain is defeated and she uses Miraculous Ladybug, this knowledge is erased from his mind.

During the titular villain's rampage in "Desperada", Adrien was so enamored that Ladybug chose him to wield the Snake Miraculous and became very determined not to fail her as Aspik. But due to him being unfocused on the current task, she got captured multiple times. Having enough, he gave up the Miraculous and told her what happened. Seeing that he wasn't the right choice, he led her to someone who was. Before transforming into Cat Noir, he got a kiss from Ladybug thanking him for saving her. Because Plagg and Tikki were spotted by someone else and his Kwami's loose lips, Adrien discovered that Ladybug is a girl at his school and considers the possibility of her being Marinette. Through the powers of Mirage and Multitude, he was tricked into believing she was someone else.

In an alternate future in "Cat Blanc" after being given a gift and seeing Ladybug, Adrien finds out her secret identity, starting a romantic relationship with her ending in happiness. When Marinette came to break up with him, he was heartbroken, refusing to leave her and be the target of an akuma. He transformed in front of her and cataclysmed it, revealing that he knew about her identity, and they hug.

After Mr. Ramier's 72nd akumatization, seeing that Ladybug found a way to protect people from future akumatizations and admiring her new costume Adrien calls her miraculous. Happy at the fact that they are one step closer to defeating Hawk Moth.

Besides his phone Adrien also kept photos of her in his computer, however after Ladybug's outburst about his flirty behavior in "Glaciator 2". His emotional breakdown nearly led to him being akumatized and in a fit of rage he deleted the pictures and tried to destroy all the advertisem*nts of them. However after spending time with Marinette, he decides to keep them. Following her advice he believed if showed Ladybug his true self Adrien will earn her love.

Due to Ladybug constantly calling their allies in "Kuro Neko", Adrien gets so depressed that he hastily gives up everything, throwing away his pictures of her as well as the ring again and even though Plagg returns he refused it if Ladybug still ignored him. Feeling like he isn't getting anywhere with her as Cat Noir, Adrien tried to reinvent himself into the "perfect" partner as Cat Walker but understanding that his original persona was her true partner he resumed it.

In "Strikeback", he was surprised to see Ladybug asking him for the Dog Miraculous back, but replying that she never gave him the jewel. They both realized the horrible truth that it was accidentally given to Félix and he used Fetch to steal her yo-yo seeing the heroine majorly distressed Adrien calmed and advised to her detransform to save the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses. But seeing that it was too late and hearing her cry that she has lost he opened his bathroom door to find her gone.

After discovering that Marinette is the one he truly loves in "Passion", he still finds Ladybug amazing but decides to let her go.

Unknown to him after Ladybug had learned his family history and his father was Hawk Moth in "Representation", through Felix, she was going to talk his father and Nathalie about releasing him from his prison in London.

He constantly flirts with her as Cat Noir and refers to her by a number of pet names, including "M'lady" and "Bugaboo". He often puts her on the spot with his romantic advances, but he does respect her wishes and never takes it too far. To his constant exasperation, she doesn't seem to reciprocate his feelings. Occasionally, losing his bravado around her, like during Valentine's Day after defeating Dark Cupid in the titular episode. He longs to know who she is behind the mask, but he respects her desire to keep it secret as seen in "Lady Wifi", when he doesn't open the door with Ladybug detransforming behind it.

As a team, they work well together, although Cat Noir sometimes feels like he has to do more of the dirty work because he cannot capture akumas. And he is usually called by Ladybug the bravest out of both of them. Despite his crush on her, he doesn't always agree with everything she says and questions her if she becomes irrational. Sometimes, they have disagreements, but know how to work them out and defeat any villain.

During "Reflekdoll", he experienced what it was like to be Ladybug as Mister Bug when their miraculouses got swapped. That's when he learned from her about being more cautious, observant and using his head. Seeing the complexity of Ladybug's powers, he asked for her help in figuring out his Lucky Charm. He became a bit annoyed that she stole his lines. After the titular villain's and sentimonster's defeats, he had a better understanding of Ladybug and her seriousness.

Cat Noir is a person of action and follows his heart rather than his head, leading him to using his powers hastily, doing hasty actions, or being deceived easily, sometimes needing Ladybug to steer him straight or save him from trouble. As shown in "Ladybug", when he easily walked into Mayura's trap until "the real" Ladybug revealed the deception. Especially when it comes to using his powers in anger such as in "Cat Blanc", "Jubilation" and "Derision".

In "Truth", he is fine and understanding that Ladybug has bigger responsibilities as the guardian as long as it doesn't affect their teamwork. He always follows her when making up the plans but when Ladybug can't Cat Noir takes the lead with his own ideas on occasion in "Truth" and "Psycomedian", showing that he too can be cool, calm and level-headed. He realizes that they'll be spending less time together, making him feeling a bit lonely during patrols. As well as left out and angry when not included in her plans.

During "Guiltrip", to cheer him up he heard how much Ladybug values his help and support believing things would be boring without him and answers back positively.

When Ladybug isn't around or when Cat Noir thinks something bad has happened to her his personality drastically changes. In "Hack-San", he is more offensive than usual but once calmed down, he takes after his partner's cautiousness and seriousness acting like a stern older brother such as with Scarabella. Aware of Ladybug's careful, observant and resourceful nature, he was right as she wouldn't give her jewels to someone else without his knowledge unless something was wrong and his instincts had the right idea but wrong person.

He felt a little angry towards Ladybug in "Rocketear", when he found out that she "bent" the rules for some of their allies unaware that was in an emergency. In "Wishmaker", he believes with Ladybug constantly calling their allies, Adrien feels sad that there may be a day where she doesn't need him anymore.

Despite returning and being cordial with her as Cat Walker in "Kuro Neko", he saw how deeply Ladybug cared for his former alterego. Once again seeing her hesitant and hasty side understanding when she confused him for being akumatized. But hearing her express great remorse he also understood Ladybug's actions as the leader she took care of everyone as he was here for her. Soon both realized they weren't working as well as they hoped in trying to be included, every plan went wrong. This time he handled exclusion with maturity knowing she could take care of everything. After the sentimonster's defeat, as his original persona he apologized to Ladybug for his actions once again being told that he's irreplaceable.

Knowing how badly the stress of being the guardian was for Ladybug. He often asked to take on some of her guardian responsibilities so that it doesn't make her an akuma victim. Implying that he knew deep down that it was possible for her or him to become one but was still in denial about it being real. As he would have to face his greatest fear fighting the one he loves unknown that already happened before.

When discussing the plan on how to retrieve the kwamis in "Destruction", he admired that Ladybug's plan are like her lucky charms. After the titular villain's defeat in "Determination", Cat Noir admitted after Ladybug's confession that except for their identities they have no more secrets.

Now the tables have flipped and Cat Noir notices that Ladybug picked up on his flirty behavior although just like him it comes at the wrong time in "Passion" so much that it left her paralyzed. Realizing that the paralyzing bolts were after him too he carried Ladybug away trying his best to outrun them believing if she wasn't paralyzed she'd come up with a great plan admitting without her he is just a foolish kitty about to detransform back finally ending up in the sewers surrounded the hero apologizes believing he failed. But when he detransforms the bolts leave making him realize they're only after Cat Noir and Ladybug. Being on opposite sides of the sewer he gives Plagg the command to remove the her jewel de-paralyzing and calming her down telling her he had her earrings and the situation about the magic bolts marking them if they retransform. So they swap Miraculouses again but before they do, Cat Noir asks about using the Ultimate power to fix everything unaware that they both were thinking the same thing but was sadly told the words of their former master and hearing him only agreeing to the swap she thanks him. Seeing her continue her flirty manner Mister Bug believe that his costume has a weird influence on her and when Nathalie was deakumatized they regained their original personas.

After their latest mission in "Elation", Cat Noir found it weird that Ladybug planned a victory date for them despite finding it sweet they didn't have time. Knowing what she was trying to do thinking it was a test he said that they were partners and friends reminding her the less they knew the better following up Ladybug admits to him that he passed.

With a close call in "Deflagration", together at their annual rooftop despite Ladybug and Cat Noir discovering that Monarch reforged the jewels they also found out that they are the only ones who can defeat him. And yet, today they also realized that they weren't the only ones who fought against him praising the resistance and their kwamis for their bravery.

After Dark Humor's deakumatizion in "Derision", Cat Noir apologized for his behavior but Ladybug didn't take it too hard as if one of them becomes lost then the other will always be there to bring them back.

They continued to work together beating Monarch's villains however another critical point in their teamwork came when they had their moral code used against them by Chloe when she rose to power in "Revolution", despite trying to encourage Ladybug to fight against her he compelled to her orders however it backfired in this situation. By waiting too long it was too late for them to do anything about it as they were held prisoner in shell-ter cages and about to detransform back with the whole city watching them. However he heard Ladybug give a speech to the Paris' people thanking them for their constant support and encouraged them to stay strong to fight against Chloe's tyranny. Aware that their detransformation was almost done believing that this was it, Cat Noir was upset that he was botching their final moments together but nonetheless he felt proud fight by her side and did their last "pound it". Seeing Paris' people heed their call, the heroes followed their example and focusing their will and determination they unlocked adult powers putting an end to Chloe's tyranny but it was a bittersweet victory as the hero wasn't only separated from the one he loved but his partner too as he left for London.

When Ladybug was attacked by everyone worldwide in the "Last Day", wanting to keep his promise to her but knowing he would be no use to her in his state of mind, Cat Noir sent his ring to her knowing she would at least have a piece of him with her during the fight against Monarch. And after the mastermind's defeat and wish, he had his ring returned and was happy to see her again.

Just as Ladybug has a lot of trust and faith in him, he has the same trust and faith in her, caring for her greatly as well, even when she is in doubt. Such as worrying for her when she was knocked off of Rogercop's car in the titular episode. When Ladybug leaped into Animan's mouth in said episode, Cat Noir feared she was gone, but seeing her alive, he hugged her out of relief. And admitted to Chloé in "Antibug" that they were a team, he was happy when the "real Ladybug" came to free him. In "Gorizilla", he'll always trust her when he jumped off the building and didn't transform. He was always assured and comforted by her when in doubt, seen in "The Dark Owl" and "Reverser", when he turns cowardly. In "Anansi" when he questioned about being replaced by their new ally Carapace, she assured him that he was irreplaceable, making him smile. In "Mayura (Heroes' Day - Part 2)" when Ladybug felt doubtful about defeating Hawk Moth, he encouraged her that despite not having a full team, they were in it together and they would find a way.

During "Weredad", he knew she would appear at the right moment. In "Gamer 2.0", his loyalty to Ladybug is so strong that he'll always fight alongside her but not against her. With only one way to free everyone from Gamer, Cat Noir eliminated himself, knowing that she would bring him and everyone back. He was also hasty when Ladybug was captured by Party Crasher. When she is feeling down or unsure about something, he doesn't mind giving advice, seen in "Gamer 2.0" and "The Puppeteer 2".

In "Kwamibuster", as Multimouse, he trusted her to save Plagg and gave her his ring for Ladybug's plan. During "Miracle Queen", he saw another crack in her confidence when he heard that she was responsible for Master Fu and their friends being captured, calling herself a failure. He encouraged her to focus on saving them, which is what truly mattered. To his surprise, he was hugged and thanked by her for always being by her side and embraced her back. Even trying to calm and comfort her again when she had another breakdown.

With Ladybug placing so much trust in him, Adrien, as his alter ego, greatly feared disappointing her and losing it, evident in "Miraculous New York". When she left for New York for a week, she entrusted him to guard the city. Then when he heard Ladybug express doubt in him during the battle against Techlonizer, the hero dropped his guard and accidentally used his powers on Uncanny Valley. They both got a harsh scolding about being reckless and the consequences of their actions by Knightowl. And worse, with Paris unguarded, Mayura and her sentimonster easily caused damage in the city.

Understanding that Ladybug and Knightowl were right, combined with the fear of what would've happened if Uncanny was human. And not wanting to hurt anyone, especially her, Adrien relinquished his role as Cat Noir giving her his ring. It wasn't until he heard a heartfelt message from Ladybug through Uncanny about her not being herself without him. He returned to a tearful partner and apologized for his dishonesty.

His trust still remained when Ladybug became the guardian of the Miracle Box, especially in "Furious Fu", when she expressed her doubt about their inability to defeat to Shadow Moth because they were kids. Cat Noir encouraged her to believe in herself as he always does respecting her as the true guardian only relinquishing his ring under her command.

When he was caught by the titular villain in "Sentibubbler", he trusted Ladybug's two person plan to free him which does as well as comforting her when Shadow Moth escaped knowing they'll have another chance. His loyalty to her has become stronger to where he won't take part without Ladybug's consent. Even as Cat Walker in "Kuro Neko", his faith and trust in Ladybug still remained.

Knowing how stressful being the guardian was for Ladybug, he wanted to be there for her by helping with the responsibility but she refused and yet, was touched that she called him her favorite partner by giving him a kiss. However, reuniting as heroes, having enough and under Risk's powers; when Ladybug stopped Cat Noir from using his powers on the titular villain he angrily reprimanded her about her lack of trust in him. Hearing her angrily reply he learned that she was afraid of him being akumatized and wanted to protect him but he retorted that would never happen. As the danger with Strikeback continued Cat Noir was saddened to see her return with a new ally named Flairamidable unaware due to them not knowing each other's identities nor that he didn't tell her or anyone else about what happened before he left as Adrien, he unintentionally Ladybug led to his cousin Félix.

In Strikeback, after Félix stole all of the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses from Ladybug's Yo-Yo and gave them to Hawk Moth exchange for the Peaco*ck Miraculous. As Cat Noir, he finds her crying on a rooftop about losing everything, being the worst guardian ever and criticizing her behavior towards him. But refusing to let her take all the blame instead of abandoning her, he comforts her, telling her that he was still here and so were the people supporting her, embracing his partner, he promised that they'll get all the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses back one by one.

In "Evolution", after Monarch hastily resorted to using time travel to defeat them, they managed to save Future Bunnyx's Miraculous. Fighting fire with fire, he tossed the jewel to Ladybug but was surprised when she entrusted him with it. As Rabbit Noir, he continued to comfort Ladybug in her frazzled state. Despite only saving Fluff, she was distraught at losing the others but was told to take pleasure in the small victory and assured her they would defeat Monarch making her smile.

As Cat Noir was wearing white during their dream wedding in "Jubilation" this could imply that like their secret identities he was told his partner's complete fear of his akumatization after Monarch's defeat so the enemy couldn't use it against them and they both decided to wear white to symbolize their freedom.

He continues support and comfort over her trauma about the team's depowerment in "Determination". After Cat Noir tells her the situation in "Passion" and after they become Lady Noire and Mister Bug again, he trusted her to follow his lead in defeating the titular villain.

During "Revelation", he was trusted by Ladybug to create a diversion while she figures out her lucky charm.

During the "Last Day", knowing that himself couldn't be trusted with his ring in his state of mind, Adrien ordered Plagg to give his Miraculous to Ladybug trusting her with it.

Cat Noir is fully willing to risk his life to protect her, shielding her from lethal attacks. He is very dedicated to Ladybug hoping she will one day return his affections. Sensitive about his feelings for her, he briefly struggles in "Glaciator" when he thinks Ladybug is playing with his emotions. He apologizes later for his bitterness after she explains she never meant to hurt him. When Ladybug kindly tells him that she honestly doesn't see him romantically, he respectfully accepts her honesty and tells her she is his best friend, yet he doesn't lose hope in her reciprocating his feelings someday.

He briefly becomes frustrated that Ladybug kept secrets from him in "Syren". However, she promised he would be told everything by "him". After he meets Master Wang Fu and defeats Syren, he thanks his partner for keeping her promise. During "Sandboy" when it's revealed that his nightmare is an evil version of her hating him, Ladybug says, "You have strange dreams, too." When she asks him about it in concern, he says, "You're the girl of my dreams."

During "Frozer", he once again tries to confess his love to Ladybug, but once again, she rejects him (unaware that the special guy is his alter ego) becoming sad. When they meet again, he treats her coldly and goes off on his own. When he defends Ladybug from Frozer's incoming attack, Cat Noir realizes that they still make a great team, despite not being a couple and still continues to romantically pursue her. Even in "Weredad", he said that he'll continue to do so even if she loves someone else.

His feelings for her become so special to him that he admits that he has most fun when he is with her in "Gamer 2.0".

After his memory was restored and seeing Alya's picture in "Oblivio", Cat Noir was happy that he kissed her but was shocked that he had no memory of it. He still held on to the hope that if it happened once it could happen again.

Due to his sensitive feelings for Ladybug, Cat Noir was fooled in "Ladybug", confusing a sentimonster for the "real her". Sensing no evil intentions, he couldn't destroy the clone and liked the idea of working with her. However, when she was destroyed, he attacked Mayura in anger, wanting to avenge her. He started to lose patience with Ladybug in "Heart Hunter", when he openly told her that he had a girlfriend attempting to make her jealous. He was saddened that it didn't work and that she wouldn't give him a chance. After meeting again, he called his partner by her proper name instead of My Lady, surprising her he asked if she was jealous.

In the alternate future, despite knowing her identity, they continued to work together and reach a point where they cornered Hawk Moth in his lair. However, upon discovering his identity and the reason for his actions, he broke down, being pulled between his loved ones. Which resulted in him being akumatized into Cat Blanc and destroying all of Paris, including his father, girlfriend and even the world. Seeing past Ladybug appear, they fought, with him wanting to fix everything despite the price. After he was deakumatized, Cat Noir still remembered Ladybug's identity but knew he shouldn't. Knowing she was going to fix everything, he smiled, never doubting her as she left, leading to the future involving their relationship being erased. In the current reality, he joined Ladybug at his favorite spot, aware that she had something to tell him but is told she already did, and they enjoyed the moment together.

In "Gang of Secrets", seeing Ladybug sad and distracted aware that he felt the same thing; Cat Noir knew that she was suffering from heartbreak about the guy she had a crush on. However unknown to him, she had given up her romantic pursuit of him as his alter ego. When he heard that Su-Han came to reclaim their Miraculouses and the Miracle Box, resulting in Ladybug losing her memory, it made him sad. Refusing to lose her and leave the city defenseless, Cat Noir bravely defied him and fought to protect her title.

His sensitivity towards Ladybug deepens in "Hack-San" as Cat Noir, he attacked Scarabella out of fear for her. When "his Ladybug" returned, he voiced concerns understanding her actions but feared of losing her and because of the rules he'd never see her again. And yet, touched that she'd always be by his side.

When reprimanded for his flirting by Ladybug after their fight with Glaciator in the sequel. Cat Noir was told again that they weren't a couple. Getting the message, he confessed difficultly in controlling his love impulses but tried for Ladybug's sake. Reuniting with her, he did so but was happy she was still fine with him calling her "M'Lady" after André is deakumatized, he was praised by her for improving.

In "Ephemeral", hearing Ladybug's missed messages about fighting Moolak; as Cat Noir, he apologized for his absence. Unaware that she was being forced by Su-Han to reveal himself; he told her that he was Adrien but she only laughed until he detransformed proving it. But seeing Ladybug hesitate in revealing herself Adrien understood and yet was ecstatic about having no more secrets he patiently waited for her. After their latest battle, with Ladybug finally having the courage to reveal herself seeing that his partner was also his closest friend Marinette he embraced her back and like in "Cat Blanc", they started dating. Until they unknowingly slipped their identities to their greatest enemy which led to Adrien's akumatization. In said form, he still retained his care for her despite their jewels ending up in Shadow Moth's hands but thanks to Sass the reality was erased.

Even as Cat Walker in "Kuro Neko", he still retained his love for her but with more subtly.

In "Jubilation", due to the Pig Miraculous power, Cat Noir's biggest desire was Ladybug returning his affections, marrying and starting a family with her. However, being told that it was dream he didn't want it to end as they finally had everything they wanted compared to the real world aware of their feelings they share a tearful kiss and wake up. Afterwards they meet at their annual rooftop spot with Cat Noir asking if any of it was real but it ends with them both agreeing it was weird.

After the titular villain's defeat in "Determination", when Ladybug admits beginning to see him in a new light and her feelings he declines them in favor of someone else. During Glaciator's fourth rampage in "Elation", when she asked Cat Noir if his feelings towards her had changed and that he was in love with Marinette, the hero was unsure agreeing it was complicated but nonetheless they remain friends. Although he doesn't know it yet, by switching his love pursuits, Adrien's actually pursuing the same person. Resuming their hero duties in "Perfection", Ladybug is happy to hear that Cat Noir has a girlfriend and expresses the same in having a boyfriend agreeing that it remains secret and they're happy they can talk about it freely as friends. They occasionally meet on the rooftops to talk about all sorts of things such as in "Intuition" and "Confrontation".

He fully learned what she meant about his akumatization in "Representation", being shown through a nightmare about it and him destroying everything and everyone horrified to see even Ladybug cataclysmed and turned to dust in his arms unaware that she had lived through this in the deleted timeline of "Cat Blanc". Understanding that Ladybug was in a rush to defeat Monarch in the hope before the mastermind could exploit him or his powers.

Adrien treats Kagami respectfully as an opponent during their match in "Riposte", and he feels guilty for his uncertain win against her, making her depressed. Though he isn't initially aware that Kagami is a girl or that her family is famous for fencing, he treats her kindly, and he encourages her to try again, offering her a rematch with a definitive winner.

In "Frozer", Adrien asks her about his romance with Ladybug. She advises him to change targets, and they spend time at the ice rink together. When Adrien tells her he won't give up on his love for Ladybug, Kagami accepts his choice but says she'll be waiting when he quits.

He spends time with her at the movie premiere in "Animaestro" and helps her when she gets gum stuck to the bottom of her shoes. In "Oni-Chan", he becomes concerned for Kagami when he sees her akumatized again.

They continue to spend time together in "Desperada", and he also mentions hanging out with her on his Instagram page. He was happy that Marinette and Kagami were getting along.

They both spend more time together during the "Battle of the Miraculous"; he and Kagami are looking for a chance to escape, and with Marinette's help, they have fun. Upon enjoying André's ice cream, his relationship with her becomes closer. Just as they are about to kiss, Adrien notices she is gone. Seeing her return, he asks her where she went, and Kagami explains that Ladybug had to protect her because the villain was attacking people in love. Aware that she has feelings for him, she attempts to kiss him again, but Adrien becomes hesitant and indecisive, which hurts her. Upon seeing a swarm of hornets coming their way, he attempts to defend her, but she protects him instead. After Miracle Queen's and her allies' defeat, Adrien enjoys some ice cream with her and the rest of their friends.

Back in Paris, Adrien and Kagami had become a couple but like Marinette, he too was continuously called away to be his alter ego. Leaving Kagami suspicious and believing that Adrien lied to her not to spend time with her they broke up. In "Gabriel Agreste" and "Optigami", they continues to be on friendly terms with her.

In "Determination", the way Adrien was looking at Marinette and his feelings for her, don't go unnoticed by Kagami despite his attempts to hide it. Then, he hesitantly set up a date with Marinette going to the Wax Grevin Museum. Admitting to Kagami that she was right about his feelings being unclear starting at there. She goes with him as moral support but seeing that he wasn't getting anywhere with Marinette, she along with Luka tricked them into being alone. After Veronique's deakumatization and Marinette departure, Adrien was asked by her if he found out his answers to which he replied yes.

During "Protection", his date with Marinette was interrupted by Kagami when she was akumatized as Riposte Prime. Hearing her explanations of wanting to defend him from Marinette by placing him in a protective sphere hoping they could be together again. As Cat Noir, he tries to reason with her but she refused to listen. After she was deakumatized, Adrien heard from the girls conversation that she was deceived by Lila. Knowing Kagami would believe him he describes his true feelings for Marinette. Seeing her breakdown in tears he and Marinette embraced her harboring no ill will towards her for her feelings. Heard her admit said feelings for them both as well as that she was happy for them but sad for herself.

In "Emotion", he was reappeared by his cousin Félix as Argos and after hearing his cousin's actions. Adrien agreed with Kagami against his cousin's views on freedom as they didn't want their freedom not without those they cared about. As well as sharing immense anger with her about what Argos did to Marinette but was relieved she was safe.

After an emotionally night, he shared some ice cream with the girls; he was praised by Kagami for the progress he made in his relationship with Marinette.

In "Representation", Adrien was upset at being presented as Kagami's boyfriend by their parents in London on the news media, despite both of them being against it.

As Cat Noir, he finds out that Kagami has feelings for his alter ego, calling him an image of perfection.

In "Ikari Gozen", he learns from Ladybug that she was captured by her akumatized mother. Giving her the Dragon Miraculous by "special delivery", he sees Kagami free herself and appear as Ryuko, knowing her identity. Due to Ryuko's mishap, he ends up being captured.

Despite that, she returns to save and inform him of Ladybug's plan. With that, Cat Noir sees her like Alya, as a quick learner, and after Kagami's mother is saved, he, along with Ladybug, includes her in their trademark pound it.

During "Heart Hunter", he is happy to see Ryuko again. Upon seeing her captured, he does everything in his power to save her as Cat Noir in "Miracle Queen" afterwards, he continues to receive Ryuko's help in "Mega Leech".

He continues to receive Ryuko's help on continuous missions until "Strikeback", thanks to him switching places with Félix and Félix's betrayal, Adrien unintentionally stripped her of her powers despite that Cat Noir still has her support despite his mistake, telling Ladybug that they'll get the Dragon Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Ryuko attending his and Ladybug's wedding.

Finding Kagami upset in "Perfection", Adrien looked for her in her car to find her not there and shocked to see her akumatized again. He was determined to save her as Cat Noir and he was proud of her for rejecting the akuma. In "Emotion", Adrien discovered the real reason behind his cousin's action leading to Kagami's depowerment.

In "Pretension", when it appears that his cousin kidnapped Kagami, he alongside Ladybug becomes determined to save her from both Argos and Kagami's akumatized mother Matagi Gozen. When confronting Félix and Kagami, the heroes demanded the former to release her, but much to Cat Noir's surprise, she defended his cousin stating he wasn't her enemy, which confused him as he didn't understand what was going on between them.

Plagg helps Adrien transform into Cat Noir. However, he must frequently bribe him with Camembert just to get him to come out and help him transform. Adrien dislikes the smell of Camembert, Plagg's love for it not pleasing him, and he doesn't always trust Plagg with items like his cellphone or the Miraculous spellbook. The kwami's antics also exasperate Adrien at times, like when Plagg causes a major argument in the classroom because he gets Chloé's expensive bracelet stuck on his head in "Rogercop". Seeing a drawing of him on a TV show, Adrien chewed Plagg out for being irresponsible, warning him of the trouble that could've happened if he got caught in "Kwamibuster".

Even though he is often frustrated with Plagg, Adrien never lets his teasing or skepticism bring him down, and confides in him, appreciating what support he receives from him. During "Santa Claws", Adrien shows a great amount of concern for him after he transforms back finding Plagg a place to keep warm while he was getting cold and hungry in the snow. In "Sandboy", fearfully believed he got turned into a sock.

In "Syren", having enough of secrets, Adrien decided to quit being Cat Noir, which left Plagg very nervous, if he didn't tell him what Ladybug was hiding. When Plagg admitted that he was also his close friend, Adrien smiled at the compliment. Despite Plagg's flaws Adrien is happy to have him in his life, mentioned in "Plagg (webisode)".

In "Sandboy", he is very understanding towards Plagg after he sneaked out on his own because Adrien knew what it was like to have restricted freedom. Somewhere before "Catalyst", he became aware of Plagg's powers, only using them in an emergency, as in "Catalyst", he was about to transform but was captured by Gorizilla again until Plagg used Cataclysm to free him. He told Plagg that he is a true hero by patting him on the head. During "Mayura", they shared a piece of Camembert that Adrien gave to him while in the sewers.

In "Oblivio" after Adrien loses his memory, like their first encounter, he believes that Plagg is a genie of some sort, showing no fear of him. Later, he sees Plagg fly away thinking he's going to get help. After Marinette contacts Master Fu, Adrien learns that Plagg is his kwami and that he can't transform without him however, he is happy to see Plagg when he returns.

After some convincing from Plagg, Adrien left for their trip to New York in "Miraculous New York". When it led to terrible mishaps as Cat Noir, he tearfully apologized to Plagg and briefly renounced him until he heard Ladybug's pleaful message about needing him. Adrien took the ring back, happy to be reunited with his kwami again.

And when voicing his frustration to Plagg about his discovery in "Rocketear", his kwami told him not to take it too hard because as the guardian it was Ladybug's job to know who her chosen were. As well as comforting him believing he'll know Ladybug's identity when the time is right.

During the second anniversary of his mother's disappearance in "Ephemeral", Adrien was comforted by Plagg when learning his father's secret as their greatest enemy despite being subjugated to surrender his kwami and miraculous but thanks to Sass that timeline was erased.

Having enough of being left out by Ladybug in "Kuro Neko", Adrien gives up Plagg despite the kwami's refusal, then sometime later, meets with him again but is still depressed. Refusing to take the ring back if things didn't change, so he followed Plagg's idea of reinventing himself into her "perfect" partner; Cat Walker. During the fight against the titular sentimonster Adrien told him that things weren't going so well after defeating the creature, they returned home. He believed Plagg's plan didn't work but was told otherwise and hearing Adrien's concerns that he couldn't get his old persona back he told him to be himself and he would. Curious Adrien wondered if Cat Noir was his true self Plagg clarified that he was both two halves of the same whole embracing once again happy to be reunited. After discovering of the secret of Ladybug's kwagatama in "Reunion", Adrien is gifted his own by Plagg.

Soon a depressed Adrien was approached by a saddened Plagg in "Transmission". Listening with great seriousness he received great praise from the kwami of destruction calling him an exemplary holder of the Black Cat miraculous as he used his powers for the greater good compared to the kwami himself. But sadly Adrien was told his mission was over despite voicing concerns Plagg told him he'll be succeed by someone else. And told to look at the bright side as he could be free to be with Marinette finally being able to tell her all of his secrets. Taking the ring back they share one last glance with each other knowing they'll never forget each other. Then in "Deflagration", he saw that the kwamis time with their successors didn't last long. Feeling the destruction of the kwamis powers and seeing on the news that Monarch had captured them, Adrien along with Ladybug and the Resistance mounted a rescue with the villain immobilized he made his move and rescued Tikki and saw that Plagg was rescued by Ladybug.

From "Migration", he was shocked as well as Plagg when Luka figured his identity as the hero and more so in "Pretension", when he was being sent to London by the school year's end being warned by Plagg if that happened he couldn't be Cat Noir anymore but was told they think of something.

But as time went on Adrien couldn't think of anything but received Plagg's sentiment in "Confronation", about being separated from someone or something he loved.

Adrien is aware that Plagg is a prankster but is happy that he tries to cheer him up with his jokes when feeling down, in "The Puppeteer 2". Again in "Feast", when he was feeling down about Nathalie's condition reminding him of his mother. Adrien was surprised that Plagg could play the piano, doing a duet with him, and after playing, he said that his mother made him laugh like that, thanking his kwami. During "Stormy Weather 2" when Adrien believes that his life hasn't changed, Plagg reminds him of the opposite. Knowing that Plagg is right, he thanks him. After a battle with Stormy Weather, he is advised by Plagg to find another girl to love, but he responds that the heart wants what the heart wants and that it can't be changed. In "Wishmaker", he talked to Plagg about his indecisiveness about the future upon hearing his kwami's idea about opening a cheese shop. Adrien laughed believing it wouldn't workout if Plagg was going to eat it.

At times, he doesn't always listen to Plagg's advice leading to trouble, such as with Lila in "Volpina", "Chameleon" and "Oni-Chan". As seen in "Reflekdoll" where his miraculous got swapped with Ladybug's. After his kwami returned, he promised Plagg that he'd never take off his ring again. In "Desperada", he was informed that being another hero was a bad idea, especially when he was distracted. Seeing a gift left on Adrien's bed and Ladybug leave, Plagg easily accepted that the heroine was delivering it for Marinette, but after Adrien put it together, he refused to listen to his attempts to dissuade him about Ladybug and Marinette being the same. He assured him everything would be fine, but due to Ladybug fixing the timeline, it didn't happen.

He finally understands in "Revelation", when seeing how far Lila's influence had gone and due to Plagg warning him on previous occasions about her, it's likely similar to Marinette, Adrien regretted not listening to him.

In "Conformation", Plagg proved how much of a loyal and determined Kwami he is towards Adrien by willing to disable the cameras in his confinement room to give him time to escape. Despite knowing he's not in the right mind and has zero chance of escaping again without risking his identity, he had Plagg give his ring to Ladybug and the two bid adieu for now.

Adrien meets Nino in "Stoneheart", and after kindly introducing himself, he is surprised that his new acquaintance is not pleased with him being friends with Chloé. After watching Adrien try to take gum off of Marinette's chair and take the blame for Chloé, Nino opens up to him, and he offers to be Adrien's new friend. He is happy about it, and the next day, he listens to Nino's advice to explain himself to and befriend Marinette.

Nino is Adrien's best friend. He appreciates Nino's compassion and caring attitude. When Gabriel denies Nino's request for Adrien to have a birthday party, he apologizes to Nino about his father. While shocked when he discovers Nino has become a supervillain, the Bubbler, Adrien is thankful to Nino for wanting to make him happy and doesn't hold anything against him after he's changed back to normal. After the incident, he is happy that he got to try out the turntable with his best friend. In the webisode "Adrien's Double Life", Adrien reveals that he talks with Nino about everything (except, of course, his double life as Cat Noir). In "Simon Says", he shows Nino his support when he enters a TV contest, and he tries to help Nino set up a date with Marinette in "Animan".

When he is allowed by his father to return to school at the end of “The Collector”, he is embraced by Nino with a hug. In "Anansi" when he and Marinette saw their best friends in perfect sync with each other, Adrien found Nino lucky and hoped that he would find someone that he would share everything with, too. In "Catalyst (Heroes' Day - Part 1)", Adrien is proud of Nino when he says that Cat Noir has shown him what cool is really about. During their trip to the Wax Museum in "The Puppeteer 2", he got the impression from Nino that Marinette hated him and didn't want to be friends with him (unaware that he was trying to hide the knowledge of Marinette's crush on him). When it comes to classes, he is happy to have Nino by his side.^[3]

In "Hawk Moth's Last Stand", upon hearing of his big trip to promote his father's company Adrien received a great big hug from Nino and that he was happy for him. But knowing he didn't want to do this he put a brave face on not wanting to disappoint him.

In "Illusion", Adrien was asked by Nino to join his resistance group then, to discover how Monarch kept transferring the miraculous powers to his villains. Upon hearing Nino wanting to cause an akumatization he was hesitant at first then agrees to go with the plan hoping his plan bears fruit unaware that they are being spied on. Then, in "Deflagration", like his other classmates Adrien was happy to receive his best friend's support in his relationship with Marinette. In the next resistance meeting Adrien saw that Nino invited Nathaniel and Zoé to their ranks and even though with the new heroes he was happy that his best friend continued to give them support. Along with Nino upon seeing Monarch on the news with Ladybug's earrings they agreed to rally the resistance members and during the scuffle he saw his best friend get paralyzed by the villain and rushed to his defense.

As Cat Noir, Adrien is aware of Nino's admiration of him, seen in "Horrificator" when he appears with Ladybug and in "Reflekta" where he calls him (albeit revealing himself to the villain). He sees how much Nino cares much for his alter ego, voicing his concern for him in "Simon Says", refusing to leave the studio without him. Also, as his alter ego in "Anansi", Adrien sees Nino's bravery and determination when he tries to help him and Alya who were Anansi's prisoners, admitting to Alya that he's pretty good in combat.

He also meets his alter ego, Carapace, in “Anansi”, but when he hears the villain say that he is replaced, he gets a little jealous. After Anansi's defeat, Ladybug assures him that he isn't being replaced and becomes happy that they gained a new ally. He works well with Carapace as seen in later episodes.

Adrien enjoys hanging out with Nino, as seen in his Instagram photos, and does everything in his power to save him as Cat Noir in "Battle of the Miraculous", despite it being unknown if he knows Nino's identity due to seeing his best friend being under Miracle Queen's control.

During "Guiltrip", while inside the titular sentimonster he discovered that Nino was plagued by guilt about him being unable to help him stand up to his father. That Cat Noir becomes consumed with guilt to point of using his powers on himself.

In "Optigami", he was surprised to see Carapace again knowing that Shadow Moth was aware of some of their allies identities and yet understood that Ladybug called him for help unaware that he was sentimonster. Seeing captured Nino by the titular sentimonster in "Sentibubbler", Cat Noir was determined to save him.

Hearing Nino voice his frustrations about Alya being in love with Cat Noir, in "Rocketear", Adrien laughed knowing that wasn't true and that Alya only had feelings for him. The next day, he was shocked that Nino had footage of him as Cat Noir with Alya and tried to dismiss it. Seeing him reach his breaking point, Adrien was shocked that Nino was Carapace and admitted that Alya was Rena Rouge and that they already knew of each other's identities. When the breakdown results in Nino being akumatized, Adrien encouraged him to fight Shadow Moth's influence, but realizes he has to fight his best friend refusing to leave him like this. As Cat Noir, he held back trying to explain what really happened even putting his weapon down. After Rena and Ladybug, through a movie projected showed what transpired, leading to Nino deakumatizing Cat Noir accepted his apology.

However, he harbored a little jealously towards Nino and Alya about his discovery of them being together, but he can't be with Ladybug.

After that he continues to receive Carapace's help on continuous missions until "Strikeback", thanks to him switching places with Félix and Félix's betrayal, Adrien unintentionally stripped his best friend of his powers. Despite that, Cat Noir still has his support despite his mistake, telling Ladybug that they'll get the Turtle Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Carapace attending his and Ladybug's wedding.

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had Nino's help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor.

Adrien seems to trust Alya's judgment; an example of this is when he suspected Chloé was Ladybug since Alya believed it. Though there is not much interaction between them, they are friendly to one another when an encounter arises, such as when they got paired together for a project with Nino in "The Evillustrator" and when they were talking to each other about Marinette's birthday in "Befana". They do spend a little time together with their friends at the picnic for Marinette in "Mayura". He invites her to come with him to the wax museum, unaware that Alya was enacting a plan to get him alone with Marinette in "The Puppeteer 2". That trust of Alya's judgement continued in "Ladybug" when he heard her talking to Marinette about proving her innocence and followed up on it.

During "Illusion", Adrien learns that Alya and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance.

As Cat Noir, he knows similar to Ladybug she has a great admiration of him constantly his heroic deeds for her Ladyblog nonetheless he does his best to protect her. He describes her as a "brave chick" to Ladybug when she is kidnapped by the titular character in "The Pharaoh". After Ladybug leaves, he asks Alya if she wants to know his age, but after she points to his beeping ring, he runs away in fear. In "Dark Owl", Adrien comes to Alya as Cat Noir with Ladybug to ask her for a favor in helping the Owl live out his dream. She gladly accepts, and he praises her for her good acting performance. In Alya's Instagrams, Adrien continues to watch over her as Cat Noir seeing that she is safe.

Unknown to him, they also shared the same desire to know Ladybug's identity so they can always help and protect her by helping Ladybug extension to him; Alya made the hero's job more easier.

Cat Noir meets Rena Rouge, Alya's alter ego, in "Sapotis", welcoming her to their team with open arms. After she responds to his teasing with her own, he notes that he has a feeling he'll like working with her. He and Rena Rouge work well as a team. He helps her by giving her advice when she needs it, and he is impressed by her adaptability. When she leaves to de-transform, he bids her farewell by saying it was a pleasure to work with her. In later episodes, he continues to work well with her.

Upon seeing Rena Rouge captured, he did everything in his power to save her as Cat Noir in "Battle of the Miraculous".

In "Optigami", he was surprised to see Rena again knowing that Shadow Moth was aware of her identity and yet understood that Ladybug called her for help unknown to him, that she made her a full fledged member of the team.

He meets her again in "Sentibubbler", where he was told that she and Ladybug had plan but not much else except that the Bubbler was a sentimonster and not allowed to use his powers on him. Seeing Rena hang up on him, Cat Noir got a little angry about being left out later eying Ladybug (unaware it was an illusion) he decides to follow her. Making his way to Alya's house unaware that he almost ruined the plan until Marinette who clued him in. But when the scuffle ended with Cat Noir being captured to the point of detransforming he hoped Rena and Ladybug still had a plan. After it ends, successfully, he was glad they had everything under control.

Upon hearing Nino voice his frustrations about Alya being in love with Cat Noir after seeing him on her blog, in "Rocketear", Adrien laughed knowing that wasn't true and that Alya only had feelings for him. But wanting to make sure he goes to her house happy to hear that his suspicions were wrong. The next day, Adrien was shocked that Nino had footage of them and tried to dismiss it. Seeing him reach his breaking point, he was shocked that from Nino that Alya was Rena Rouge and they already knew of each other's identities. Unknown to him that he and Ladybug were going to continue to get help from her behind the scenes. However he harbored a little jealously towards Alya and Nino about his discovery of them being together but he can't be with Ladybug.

He comes across Alya as Scarabella in "Hack-San", at first he was very cold towards her. Finding her hero names terrible even more so since he wasn't told about Ladybug's departure he believed that she was a sentimonster or supervillain that harmed his partner and stole her Miraculous.

Filled with worry, fear and anger, Cat Noir fought against and even tried to Cataclysm her until he was convinced otherwise but he had high expectations as Scarabella fell for simple traps his Ladybug would not.

Escaping inside the Wax Museum, hearing Scarabella's earlier explanation he believed that she and Ladybug were friends until she said otherwise unknown to him that they were best friends, and yet was hurt that she got to know Ladybug's identity and he did not. As the fight continued, upon hearing Scarabella accept that she was no Ladybug, he agreed and encouraged her to be herself even calling her the one and only Scarabella praising her for a great job.

After Markov was de-akumatized, Cat Nor praises Scarabella for her work by doing “Pound it” together.

Not seeing Rena in a great while Cat Noir likely suspected she was inactive until "Strikeback" when Carapace unveiled her location. Upon seeing her new look as Rena Furtive he was aware she pulled the same costume change trick he did back in "Kuro Neko". But thanks to him switching places with Félix and Félix's betrayal, Adrien unintentionally stripped Alya of her powers however Cat Noir still has her support despite his mistake. Telling Ladybug that they'll get the Fox Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Rena Rouge attending his and Ladybug's wedding. Unknown to him in "Transmission", that Alya returned as Scarabella and as Ladybug's successor. However in "Deflagration", upon noticing Monarch with the Ladybug Miraculous from the news Adrien pieced together that the enemy discovered her identity and stolen them but worked with the resistance to get them and his ring back.

In "Revelation", he unknowingly receives help from Alya as Scarabella.

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had Alya's help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor.

It is shown various times throughout the show that Adrien's classmates deeply care for him. In "The Bubbler", they all attend Adrien's first birthday party. In "The Collector", they all worry for Adrien after he gets banned from attending school and later rejoice when he returned. In "Félix", Adrien's classmates, along with Kagami, Luka and Marc, decide to send Adrien a message to show how much they care for him. Additionally, in "Party Crasher", Adrien's male classmates and Marc group up to spend some time with him.

But in "Gabriel Agreste", he was sad that they couldn't come to his father's gathering viewing them as important to him.

During "Illusion", Adrien learns that all his classmates have become apart of the Resistance. In "Deflagration", as resistamce members he worked with his class to aid Ladybug in her fight against Monarch.

As their alter egos, Ladybug occasionally picks one of their classmates to fight alongside them using a Miraculous. Cat Noir gets along well with the entire Team, and they always successfully save the day. Aware of Ladybug's continuous calls upon them, he worries that one day she won't need him anymore.

As of "Ephemeral", that's not completely true unknown to him to due his absence Ladybug had to call almost the entire team. Due to possible different outcomes they would've called on everyone anyway.

Seeing them constantly called by Ladybug in "Kuro Neko", Adrien believed his worse fear had come true about being replaced so much that he entered a depressive state even giving up his mantle as Cat Noir. But by looking through Cat Walker's eyes and hearing Ladybug express her feelings about his previous alter ego, he learned that he is just as important as all of the other team members.

In "Penalteam", Cat Noir is reunited with the whole team including four new members: Miss Hound, Rooster Bold, Caprikid, and Minotaurox

In "Strikeback", despite him and his friends defeating the sentimonster, (thanks to his cousin's betrayal and them switching places) he unintentionally helped Hawk Moth steal all Miraculouses from Ladybug. Therefore stripping his team of their powers making them inactive but still having their support despite his mistake, telling her that they'll get the Horse, Monkey, Mouse, Pig, Dog, Rooster, Goat and Ox Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Pegasus, King Monkey, Polymouse, Pigella, Miss Hound, Rooster Bold, Caprikid, and Minotaurox attending his and Ladybug's wedding. In "Emotion", Adrien discovered the real reason behind his cousin's action leading to his team's depowerment.

Through, "Revelation", Adrien learns the hard way of how bad Lila's influence had gotten to their classmates. When most of them were under said influence through Hoaxer about the lie of Marinette being Monarch, Adrien rushed to stop them. They easily didn't believe him except for Ivan and Myléne. But after Lila's deakumatization, he still felt sorry towards them for being wrapped in her lies, but held onto hope they'd be shown the truth someday, which comes true in "Confrontation".

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had their help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor, despite Ivan being a Miraculized for a moment.

At first, Adrien was aware that Tikki is his partner's Ladybug kwami. After Adrien gets his memory erased by Oblivio and detransforms, he meets Tikki. At first he is unsure what she is but is friendly towards her. He admires her compliment when she calls him and Marinette an effective couple. He later learns from Master Fu that Tikki is Marinette's kwami. When Oblivio was defeated and his memory was restored, he forget about their encounter.

In "Reflekdoll", he meets her again while searching for Plagg. After introducing herself, she tells him that there was a mix-up with the miraculouses. Seeing the state of emergency, Tikki helps transform him into Mister Bug. After Reflekta's and her sentimonster's, defeat they detransformed and recharged. He returns the earrings hoping to see Tikki again. In "Kwamibuster" due to Plagg's loose lips, he is aware that Tikki is Ladybug's kwami and playfully mentions that she was spotted, too.

During Galette's Day, in "Dearest Family", upon seeing Ladybug acting strange Adrien learned from Plagg that on occasion Tikki goes crazy with sweets as he noticed her create a giant galette in the sky and was told of a similar incident happening before reuniting with Ladybug he saw that Tikki was doing better.

In "Passion", after being marked by the titular villain; Adrien briefly becomes Tikki's owner leading to the return of Mister Bug until the said villain's defeat.

Then in "Kwami's Choice", seeing Scarabella back in action Adrien was aware that it wasn't just Plagg that picked a successor but Tikki too and yet their successors didn't last long. Feeling the destruction of the kwamis and seeing on the news that Monarch had captured them, Adrien along with Ladybug and the Resistance mounted a rescue with the villain immoblized he made his move and rescued Tikki returning her to her rightful owner.

Adrien first meets Alix after he starts going to Collège Françoise Dupont. He acts friendly towards her. In "Timebreaker", he felt bad for Alix when her family watch was destroyed and supportive towards her in "Feast" when the museum her father works at has a new exhibit.

As Cat Noir, he doesn't interact with her as much but like everyone else he does everything he can to keep her safe. In "Reverser", due to being turned into a coward he easily accepted her help in defeating the titular villain. During "Timetagger", he came across her again with a message from her family watch heading to the Egyptian exhibit in the Museum he was surprised to find a mysterious Miraculous holder inside the obelisk.

Soon he is introduced to the mystery holder Bunnyx who told him in the future she was apart of his and Ladybug's team of heroes being affectionately calling him "Kitty Noir". Learning that her role in the team is "the hero of last chance" being called upon when everyone else fails including them which left Cat Noir confused because they freed her from stone believing she failed too until Bunnyx clarified that she got stuck in stone due to one of his Cataclysms damaging her jewel. The surprises never end when they discover that Alix's watch was the Rabbit Miraculous and Bunnyx is Alix's future self; but aware of the jewel's power Cat Noir was curious why they didn't use it more often until being warned by the rabbit heroine that messing with past could have serious consequences.

During Bunnyx's fight against Timetagger, he was amazed by her abilities as a holder and couldn't wait to grow up but as the fight dragged on Cat Noir was getting antsy and tried to help but he almost caused what she mentioned earlier with help from their future selves Cat Noir bid Bunnyx goodbye.

He meets Bunnyx once again in "Evolution", after Monarch tried to use the Rabbit Miraculous to steal their jewels in the past. Following her inside the Burrow when the fight against Monarch led to Bunnyx being paralyzed. With quick thinking Cat Noir used his powers to save her jewel and identity. Needing to follow Monarch, he used her jewel to become Rabbit Noir but knowing that they'd need more help they pick up the Dog Miraculous from the past then Alix. Explaining that they need her help in getting the current Rabbit Miraculous back as well as being informed that her father knew of Alix's destiny.

As Canigirl, he works well with Alix and by using Monarch's greed against him they managed to retrieve the Rabbit Miraculous allowing current Alix to become Bunnyx. With one Miraculous safe, he returns it to future Alix commenting that her power was pretty cool and to ensure it he knew that she had to stay inside the Burrow until Monarch's defeat. But unlike Ladybug he was filled with hope when they do she'll return.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Bunnyx attending his and Ladybug's wedding. In "Reunion", at the Louvre, Adrien and his class discover a letter from Alix about her adventures then after her brother Jalil's akumatization but aware of Monarch's trick, he saw Bunnyx's help without having her leave the safety of the burrow.

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had Bunnyx's help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor.

Adrien first meets Juleka after he starts going to Collège Françoise Dupont. He acts friendly towards her. In "Reflekta", he backs up Juleka when Chloé tried to take her spot in the class picture. He also cares about her, as he comforted her when she ran to the Boiler room to cry after Rose Lavillant was in the hospital in "Guiltrip". After Adrien finds out about Rose's illness, he promises to Juleka that he won't treat her differently. Unlike most of Miss Bustier's class, and was the only that listened to her and did not treat Rose any differently the next day.

During "Illusion", Adrien learns that Juleka and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance. In "Deflagration", as resistamce members he worked with Juleka to aid Ladybug in her fight against Monarch.

As Cat Noir, he doesn't interact with her as much but like everyone else he does everything he can to keep her safe.

In "Crocoduel", Cat Noir meets Juleka's alter ego Purple Tigress. He becomes very friendly towards her as well as going beside and snuggling her saying they are practically family since both of their Miraculouses are a type of cat: Tiger and Black Cat. They also work well together, as he launches her and Ladybug to fight Captain Hardrock and Guitar Villain and makes sure she gets back to the surface safely with his staff. He was also very impressed and speechless when she used Clout to launch the Liberty far away.

After the villains were defeated, Cat Noir tells Purple Tigress she did great, but he's about to detransform, before leaving Cat Noir tells her that he hopes to sees her again someday. He continues to receive Purple Tigress' help on continuous missions until "Strikeback", thanks to him switching places with Félix and Félix's betrayal, Adrien unintentionally stripped her of her powers. Despite that Cat Noir still has her support despite his mistake, telling Ladybug that they'll get the Tiger Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Purple Tigress attending his and Ladybug's wedding. In "Emotion", Adrien discovered the real reason behind his cousin's action, leading to Juleka's depowerment.

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had Juleka's help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor.

Adrien first meets Luka in "Captain Hardrock" and is warmly welcomed into their band. The two even spend time together in "Frozer" although the two the don't interact much.

During "Desperada", he spends time with him and his friends on the Couffaine Houseboat until the titular villain attacks. He was led to safety by Luka and, in return, Adrien saved him from being struck by Desperada. After failing with the Snake Miraculous as Aspik many times, he saw that Luka was a much better match for the miraculous than he was.

In "Wishmaker", he meets Luka at the career expo when he's indecisive about the future and after the titular villain's defeat he takes Luka's advice about the future.

In "Determination", at first Adrien was surprised to see Luka with Marinette suggesting that they were a couple again. But just like Kagami, he was there formorale support until he was tricked by him and Kagami into being alone in the wax museum with Marinette so that he can admit his feelings.

Adrien like everyone else always came to Luka for advice like in "Migration" for him it's about despite being happy of finding his love tune with Marinette. But knowing that she is hiding something he asked Luka, how could he love someone without fully knowing them and received the wisdom that many people have different sides to them and it takes time and patience to learn them all with that insight Adrien hugged him in thanks. However he didn't like it when Luka was tricked by Bob into signing a contract just to fulfill the producer's endless greed and led to his friend's near akumatization as well as being shocked that Luka smashed his prized guitar to stop it.

He doesn't interact with him much as Cat Noir, but he does welcome his support in the Paris Rebellion in "Mayura". Then, meets Luka's alter ego Viperion in "Desperada", and the two get along very well. He is open to listening to his suggestions and ideas. He is happy to see him in "Party Crasher" along with their other allies. Upon seeing Viperion captured, he did everything in his power to save him as Cat Noir in "Battle of the Miraculous". Aware of the titular villain's powers in "Wishmaker", he agreed with Ladybug's approval about needing Viperion unknown to him during the scuffle Luka discovered his identity as Cat Noir.

He was surprised to see him in "Ephemeral", upon him detransforming into his civilian form in front of him, the latter also heard that his kwami Sass rewind time.

He continues to receive Viperion's help on continuous missions until "Strikeback", thanks to him switching places with Félix and Félix's betrayal, Adrien unintentionally stripped him of his powers despite that Cat Noir still has his support despite his mistake, telling Ladybug that they'll get the Snake Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Viperion attending his and Ladybug's wedding. In "Emotion", Adrien discovered the real reason behind his cousin's action leading to Luka's depowerment.

In "Migration", as everyone else was hiding from Gold Record, Adrien realized Marinette wasn't with them, but was calmed by a firm Luka believing that even if she was caught he was confident Cat Noir and Ladybug could save everyone making him aware of Adrien's secret leaving both holder and kwami shocked. After transforming, the hero had no problem acting as the decoy while Luka was taken to safety. But upon seeing him out in the open exhausted Cat tried to rushed to his defense then was told that he was apart of the plan despite deakumatizing Bob. It turns out that what Adrien suspected earlier was true as the young musician really did know his and Ladybug's identities and upon hearing Luka making his choice to leave to Paris to protect the heroes even though he doesn't agree with his decision Adrien respects it sharing a group hug with him and their friends.

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had Luka's help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor.

Like everyone else Adrien is aware that Zoé is Chloé's half-sister. In "Queen Banana", he was willing to help Zoé and her classmates in making their group movie. In ways they are similar despite them growing in the same lifestyle both Adrien and Zoé weren't satisfied by physical values and were searching for emotional values to which they found by being their true selves and finding new friends. During "Deflagration", he found out that Zoé and Nathaniel were the newest members of the Resistance.

As Cat Noir, he meets her akumatized alter ego, Sole Crusher seeing that she held Marinette hostage but after he frees her during the scuffle and seeing the damage she poses he attempted to use his powers on her to prevent further damage until being stopped by Ladybug.

During the fight against the Sentimonster Banana Boom Boom who was accidentally cataclysmed, he meets Zoé's hero alter-ego Vesperia at first confusing her for Queen Bee until being clarified and was amazed by her happy to meet her acquaintance being respectful to her as well as kissing her hand. According to Plagg, she is sweeter, more refined and much nicer than Queen Bee. They also work well together as well as praising her for a good job at taunting Queen Banana.

He continues to receive Vesperia's help on continuous missions until "Strikeback", thanks to him switching places with Félix and Félix's betrayal, Adrien unintentionally stripped her of her powers despite that Cat Noir still has her support despite his mistake, telling Ladybug that they'll the Bee Miraculous back one day.

In "Jubilation", during his dream he sees Vesperia attending his and Ladybug's wedding. In "Emotion", Adrien discovered the real reason behind his cousin's action leading to Zoé's depowerment.

After Adrien is freed from his duty as Cat Noir in "Transmission", unknown to him, Zoé was picked by Plagg to be his successor as the heroine Kitty Noire. Seeing the magical swarm of ladybugs fly through the sky he knew she'd be fine. Or so he and Ladybug thought, upon finding Kitty Noire and Scarabella out of action in "Deflagration", When Chloé tries to humiliate Marinette by trying to ridicule her dream of being Adrien's girlfriend, Zoé, moved by her desire to protect their happiness as a couple, gathers the courage she needed to confront her half-sister and drag her to her seat, Adrien became grateful for what Zoé did for him and Marinette.

Adrien stood up against Monarch with his friends and saved their miraculouses and resumed his mantle.

In "Re-creation", Despite not being able to participate as Cat Noir, he unknowingly had Zoé's help in defeating the Miraculized in his and Ladybug's honor.

Nathalie takes care of Adrien's needs, but her serious nature towards him, not unlike his father, doesn't help him connect with her on any personal level. Still, he openly acknowledges and appreciates her kindness and assistance. According to him on his Instagram page, he calls Nathalie the most responsible person he knows.

Adrien shows concern for Nathalie when Lila sneaking into his house causes her to get in trouble during "Oni-Chan". In "Feast", he feels sad that Nathalie is going through the same dizzy spells his mother had. In "Félix", Adrien tells his father that he has noticed how close he and Nathalie have become, and he believes that she can make his father happy again, as he already considers her part of the family.

He notices Nathalie wearing his mother's wedding ring and is happy that Nathalie and his father are getting along unaware of the tense relationship going on behind the scenes in "Passion". Adrien also asks her on advice for a girl he likes but doesn't know how to go about it. Then, heard that due to Nathalie having a life as a treasure hunter made romance tricky but seeing her condition he feared that she was going to end up just like his mother and was saddened that there was nothing he could do. After she is deakumatized, Adrien apologizes and embraces her promising that he would always be here for her with Nathalie doing the same then they resume the conversation they had earlier.

Unlike his father, Adrien receives her support about his relationship with Marinette. Two are separated when Adrien is forcibly sent to London by his father, but before he leaves, Nathalie sadly reassures him that while he can't disobey his father, he still has the right to love whoever he wants.

Unknown to Adrien, Nathalie tried to stop Monarch from launching his last attack but was unable due to her illness and later succumbed to it, falling into a endless sleep, like Emilie. However, due to Gabriel's wish, she's awakened at the cost of his life and is currently taking care of Adrien alongside his aunt Amelie.

Adrien is unaware that Nathalie has been working alongside Hawk Moth (who he also doesn’t know is his father) and secretly dislikes his alter ego. Furthermore, he is unaware that she is Hawk Moth's ally, Mayura, whom he directly fought in "Miraculer".

They meet again, in "Ladybug", when he easily fell for her trap with a Ladybug sentimonster until being set straight by the "real one", he believes that there's nothing monstrous about her despite Sentibug being so human.After Ladybug frees Sentibug, he's very happy and grateful that Sentibug will help them take the Peaco*ck Miraculous. But when he sees Mayura destroy plus murdering Sentibug, the hero attacks her in anger and rage, trying to avenge the deceased sentimonster, but Hawk Moth mocks him about being sentimental on Sentibug, Cat Noir calls him a real monster for not showing any sympathy.

He was also saddened that Sentibug couldn't be brought back by the Miraculous Ladybug's powers. Aware that now Hawk Moth is using the power of the Peaco*ck, it's implied like Ladybug that he believes that Mayura is now inactive. Seeing that their archenemy doesn't have the Peaco*ck Miraculous anymore means that Adrien official believes that Mayura like Chloé is decommissioned.

Then, as Cat Noir, he instantly recognized Nathalie as the akumatized villain Safari in "Passion". Before transforming into Mister Bug, he thought about using his and Ladybug's Miraculouses combined power to save her but decided against it after hearing the consequences. As Mister Bug, he becomes very determined to save her. Unaware that Nathalie allowed herself to be akumatized, so she could take the heroes' jewels for herself.

Adrien's only childhood friend before attending collège was Chloé, and he has always been aware that she isn't perfect. However, he doesn't realize the extent of her cruelty until he sees her put a wad of gum on Marinette's chair to teach her "respect" in "Stoneheart (Origins - Part 2)". Despite knowing it was Chloé, Adrien doesn't reveal it to Marinette at first, despite her mistakenly believing he's the culprit, until he explains what really happened to her the next day.

Although having known Chloé since they were little kids, Adrien is not very interested in her affection towards him. When he learns from Nino that Alya thinks Chloé is Ladybug, he is shocked and is later relieved after Ladybug appears while he is spying on her cosplaying as Ladybug. He is one of the very few people who is on friendly terms with Chloé, despite her spoiled attitude. He has no problem calling her out on her rude treatment of other people at times.

In "Despair Bear" after Chloé calls the fire department during Tom’s cooking lesson and gets the whole school in trouble, Adrien tells her that he has had enough and threatens to renounce her as a friend unless she learns to be nicer to others. Once he attends the party Chloé throws for all her classmates and Ladybug tells him while he is Cat Noir that she helped defeat Despair Bear, he believes that she is making an effort to change. Adrien rekindles his friendship with her at the party's end, but he acknowledges that Chloé will probably never fully change as she begins criticizing her peers.

In "Queen Wasp", he felt sorry for her when she was disregarded by her mother. Seeing Chloé unveil the Bee Miraculous in front of everyone, Adrien was shocked and showed great concern for her when she rushed off, transformed in a jealous rage. In "Malediktator" whilst everyone at school celebrates, Adrien is the only one not happy when Chloé prepares to leave Paris, because he saw her as his only friend in their younger years and believes she isn't useless, despite her spoiled attitude.

He attends her parents’ wedding anniversary in "Battle of the Miraculous" but doesn't find the party enjoyable and looks for a way to escape.

During "Sole Crusher", Adrien was surprised like everyone else that Chloé has a sister named Zoé but when she took over their class' film in "Queen Banana", he tried to convince her to apologize everyone reminding her of their deal. Seeing Chloé leave in a huff he hears that their friendship is over and saddened by it but was shocked that she was akumatized into the titular villain. After Chloé is deakumatized, he checks to see if she's alright but she refused to talk to him.

And yet, in a way Adrien was acting a bit like Chloé as both felt neglected or unloved by their parent and when Ladybug came into their lives both believed she could fill the void their parents left behind. But unlike her and by working with Ladybug constantly Cat Noir understood to look beyond than just he wanted to see treating her like a real person and not just to get something he wanted. As their alter-egos, they both shared a dislike of being excluded by Ladybug but through Cat Walker's eyes, Adrien understood that he was jumping to conclusions about her replacing him, not to take being excluded so hard, not use his position to gain special treatment and she still valued his importance.

However Chloe's influence still had a hold on him as by agreeing to Felix's idea he unintentionally finished what Chloe started back in "Miracle Queen", in "Strikeback", as she intended for the other heroes to be axed but it didn't work and Adrien didn't mean for that to happen but it did. Because, both wanted something back that Ladybug took away: for Chloe it was her power but for him he wanted Ladybug's companionship and also unlike Chloe, Adrien cared about the methods he used and the effects it caused learning just because you feel axed doesn't mean others deserve it too and tried to do everything as his alterego to fix it.

During his lunch date with Marinette in "Deflagration", he didn't take any pleasure that Chloé tried to ruin it even as going as to admit to him of Marinette's feelings towards but he remained unfazed politely telling her to back off and that his feelings towards Marinette were the same. But Adrien was horrified that Chloé was akumatized again and knowing she was after him and Marinette they both managed to escape her.

Although, like everyone else, he noticed that Chloé's behavior got worse as time moved on.

In "Derision", he learns the full extent of her cruelty towards Marinette. From Kim, Adrien heard that the year before he came to their school, Chloé would constantly prank and humiliate Marinette to no end because of their social standings. Worst of all, he learns that she along with Kim traumatized Marinette's love life before they met, which angered Adrien, so he goes to confront Chloé demanding that she apologizes to Marinette for everything she had done to her including traumatizing her love life, being sure that Marinette would forgive Chloé and to prove that she can change.

Chloé refuses about the harm she caused by doing what she did and goes on about how she views people like Marinette as doormats who only exists for her amusem*nt.

With that, Adrien scolds at her for all the horrible things she'd done to Marinette and Socqueline, despite the multiple chances everyone including himself gave her to become a better person and that she didn't have any remorse or sympathy for her egoistical selfishness or her actions. He finally tells Chloe that they will never friends again, permanently ending their friendship once and for all. She now views him as a "traitor", and it disappointed him that similar to Lila as he also gave her so many chances to change just to see she wouldn't in "Confrontation".

Unknown to him, she worked with Lila behind the scenes to hatch their revenge and Chloé learned of his upcoming departure to London in "Collusion" and that she was akumatized afterwards.

In "Revolution", Adrien sees Chloé continue making everyone else's lives miserably as Mayor and meeting Marinette and Nino on the Pont des Arts for André's ice cream he was asksed Marinette to speak to his father, hoping he'll be able to convince Chloé to step down. And yet, in his next attempt to tell Marinette the truth after being unable to tell her over the phone, he made his way to the Dupain-Cheng bakery, but only found Marinette's pink helmet on the counter and one else here. Outside, Adrien also spots André's bike rolling along the street without him. And caught a flyer for Chloé's mayoral candidacy deducing that she is behind all this.

Adrien angrily bursts into the mayor's office to confront her but Chloé mocks his concern for Marinette and threatens to tell her that he is moving to London, knowing he hasn't told her shocking him, but will keep the secret in exchange for him working as her deputy mayor. He refuses, finally accepting that his former childhood friend is gone, promising to tell Marinette himself and sent to "detention" by her. Once in the detention realm he wondered how she was doing all this. Chloé's reign comes to an end and she is banished by her father being aware that she got sent to New York with Audrey after she was exiled by André.

Unknown to Adrien, just after his forced departure to London, she went through her threat of telling Marinette about him having to move in a last attempt to make the two suffer, however it didn't work as he already beat his former friend too it telling her himself before leaving. Putting the final nail in the coffin as Adrien didn't give Chloé the joy of watching them suffer knowing they endured enough as Marinette turns the tables on the latter, telling her the cold hard truths that she has lost any power over anyone or anything, and that she is "ridiculous, utterly ridiculous" so harshly, which finally shatters Chloé's pride and spirit as the latter breaks down in tears after finally realizing that she has truly lost everything including her former childhood friend, and that she has hit rock-bottom.

In "Last Day", Adrien had passed the test where Chloe had failed as unlike her, he was able to surrender his power to help to his people.

As Cat Noir, Adrien keeps a calmer head around her as he shows much more patience with her than Ladybug, still guarding Chloé in "The Evillustrator" after Ladybug leaves angrily. Even when fighting against Chloé in "Antibug", he does not use his full strength on her because he doesn't want to hurt her.^[4] In "Zombizou" near the episode's end, as Cat Noir, he sees Chloé’s regretful and remorseful side when she apologizes to Miss Bustier for her actions, and he smiles at her.

During the events of "Queen Wasp" after saving her from a "supposed speeding train", he was angry with her for using her powers irresponsibly. Once she was deakumatized, however, he completely understood the things she did were out of a desire to impress her mother and encouraged her to do the right thing by returning the Bee Miraculous, even accepting her apology. He also was proud of her in "Malediktator" when he saw her and Ladybug working together.

In the "Heroes' Day" special, he becomes a bit snarky with Chloé when she expresses anger over him giving her the Bee Miraculous instead of Ladybug and tells her he can find his partner another Queen Bee. When Chloé takes back her comment, he pushes her to ask for her Miraculous nicely, and the two work well together.

In "Bakerix" while evacuating the Startrain, he comes across Chloé, who tells him they should ask Queen Bee for help. He politely tells her that they have everything under control but will keep her offer to help in mind.

In "Miraculer", he fights alongside Chloé as Queen Bee one last time, aware that her adventures as her alter ego are over due to their enemies knowing her identity, but is happy knowing she'll be safe.

After the fight against Heart Hunter in "Battle of the Miraculous", Cat Noir was unaware of her betrayal and siding with Hawk Moth until "Miracle Queen", hearing that Chloé was angry about the heroes (especially Ladybug) giving up on recruiting her as an ally. Like Ladybug, he, too, was hurt by Chloé's betrayal, accepting that the damage she caused can't be undone. After Chloé was deakumatized as Cat Noir, he voiced concern about her being akumatized again in "Queen Banana".

As Cat Noir, he continues to hear Chloé batter him and Ladybug over the lost of the Miraculouses in "Determination" and "Reunion" but remains unfazed.

In "Collusion", with the help of Cerise ("Lila"), through Gabriel's manipulation, and after her father resigns as mayor, she took over her father's position becoming the mayor of Paris, effectively banning Cat Noir and Ladybug as outlaws.

In "Revolution", unknown to him Chloé was still akumatized into Queen Mayor despite that Cat Noir wanted to do something against her rule but was prevented by Ladybug at the refusal of taking advantage of the moral. Until at the Louvre, he asks the Parisians if they want an election to get rid of Chloé as the Dictator to which everyone agrees with him. He and Ladybug gets trapped in Shell-ters with Resistance, leaving them powerless and to make them detransform into their civilian forms. But what he didn't count on was Ladybug taking the time to give a speech to rally everyone, thanking them for their support and encouraging them to remain resilient in the fight against Monarch as well as empower everyone to stand up to her and the hero himself to not give up, boost their powers and overcome their time limit. With the help of the Resistance, the heroes were free. Cat Noir destroys her police robots with Cataclysm and angrily glared at Chloé after being deakumatized before her father exiled her to New York to discipline her.

Adrien is friendly with Lila, but he is flustered and wary by her upfront passion towards him. While he is upset when he learns the truth about her lies of being a superhero, he feels somewhat bad for her being harshly exposed by Ladybug.

In "Catalyst", Adrien is disappointed when Lila lies to the class about being in the kingdom of Achu and working on a pollution-reduction project, shaking his head in disapproval.

In "Chameleon", he tells Lila that he doesn't mind being friends with her and encourages her to be honest with him. Gently telling her if there's something bothering her, he can help but her lies will catch up with her someday as well as make enemies. He is upset when Lila gets angry over his advice but is happy when Lila, as Chameleon, tells him that she has decided not to lie again, unaware that this is another lie until she kisses him, putting him into an enchanted sleep. Though he disapproves of her lying to everyone, he encourages Marinette not to expose her, holding on to hope that she’ll improve as a person.

In "Oni-Chan", he offers to help Lila with her homework but is displeased when she manipulates her way into the Agreste mansion, causing Nathalie and his bodyguard to be in trouble with his father. When asked by Plagg why he’s so nice to Lila despite her deceitful nature, Adrien claims that it’s because he believes that she’s lonely and wants attention. The next day at school, as Adrien, he tells Lila that he will not tolerate her hurting his loved ones.

In "Ladybug" when he heard that Alya was looking for evidence to prove Marinette's innocence, Adrien quickly figured out it was Lila. Meeting her at his next photoshoot, he angrily reprimands her for what she did to Marinette and reminds her of his warning from "Oni-Chan" (unknown to him, Lila worked her way in as his father's personal spy). Instead of giving up on her, Adrien convinced Lila to make another story that would prove his friend's innocence if she wanted to continue being friends.

In "Risk", still knowing of Lila's lying Adrien wasn't too thrilled about traveling with her on his father's company trip.

During "Illusion", Adrien learns that Lila and her classmates have become apart of the Resistance. In "Perfection", Adrien didn't know that Lila was responsible for Kagami's akumatization and found out that she took advantage of her instability leading to his friend's second akumatization in "Protection".

In "Transmission" & "Protection" Adrien and Lila are no longer friends due to her refusal to change like Chloe. In "Confrontation" Lila now decides to dismantle his relationship with Marinette as her ongoing goal.

He fully regretted not listening to Plagg or Marinette about Lila in "Revelation". Instead of her getting better, she got worse like Chloé as he began to see how badly her influence affected the school. Seeing that Lila was after Marinette as the akumatized Hoaxer, he saw her spread lies about her, but like Mylene and Ivan, he didn't believe Lila and was proud that her true nature was exposed by Marinette and Sabrina in "Confrontation".

As Cat Noir, at first, he believes Volpina is a real new hero, being supportive of her and suggesting that Ladybug should treat her nicely. Once he figures out Volpina is an akumatized Lila, he tries to reason with her as his regular self, albeit awkwardly having to note that they weren't necessarily going on a date earlier before her akumatization. His response as Cat Noir to Lila's rejection of Ladybug's apology is "Ouch..."

As Cat Noir, he believes Lila when she claims to now trust Ladybug in "Oni-Chan", remarking how he always believed that she would wind up liking her in the end. He also believes her when she claims to have a hurt leg and rushes to her aid. However, after discovering her deception, he is shocked that Lila hates Ladybug so much that she’d made him leave her with Oni-Chan, and he angrily tells her that she should be ashamed. After Oni-Chan’s defeat, he warns Ladybug to keep an eye on Lila, calling her as sly as a fox.

Then, when she was akumatized as Hoaxer, Cat Noir didn't approve of her spreading lies about him and Ladybug.
