Amazing Disney princesses infographic (2024)

Stars like Katy Perry and Beyoncé are famed for their multiple costume changes during their glitzy, sell-out concerts. But they've got nothing on the Disney divas.

From Belle in THAT yellow ballgown to Princess Jasmine in her jewel-coloured sarees it's the 'toon princesses of Disney's technicolour dreamworld, that continue to leave us spellbound with their sartorial choices.

Now, for the first time, we can see which of the doe-eyed ladies racked up the most costume changes during each of their starring roles.

The winner is Princess Tiana, who manages to squeeze in a total of nine dresses during The Princess and the Frog. Take that, Queen Bey.

Most of the other princesses, meanwhile, come in at five outfits. They include Ariel of The Little Mermaid fame (post-tail transformation, obv) and Belle, who we ALL wanted to be.

Cinderella's style evolution should also be noted - from dull 9-5 day dress to haute couture (oh, okay, fairy godmother-made) ballgown. But spare a thought for poor Pocahontas, she only has one outfit.

Missing from the infographic is Scottish Princess Merida from Brave and more recent female Disney leads, Anna and Elsa, in Frozen, so no doubt Disney will release another updated infographic in due course.

For now, we'll just gaze at this one. It's enough to make you want to have a Disney DVD marathon. Wait - there's a bank holiday weekend coming up, isn't there? Pass the popcorn.
