It's an authentic Call of Duty. As far as Call of Duty games go, WW2 is an instant classic. Call of Duty WWII is one of the best iterations of the franchise in a long time, thanks to an awesome campaign and a worthy multiplayer enriched by the new War Mode and the HQ social lobby. A must-buy for every COD fan.

A Solid Return to Boots-on-the-Ground Action As a fan of the classic boots-on-the-ground Call of Duty experience, I found Call of Duty: WWII to be a satisfying return to form. The campaign offered a compelling storyline and enjoyable gameplay, although at times it did seem to borrow a bit from Battlefield.

When focusing on the main objectives, Call of Duty: WWII is about 7 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 19 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

It is difficult to play but this is coming from someone who is only decent at party and sports games. Without the blood and language I'd say 8 and up, with it 9 and up, but with the difficulty of play and the setting, 10 and up. If you enjoy a fast paced gameplay when it comes to multiplayer, then it will definitely be CoD WWII. It's physics are great, but unrealistic. If you enjoy the slower paced action, and more of a realistic feel (as much as you can get in a game anyway), then BF1 will be your go-to.

Most of the Western Front locations presented in the first two Call of Duty games and the more recent Call of Duty: WWII are quite accurate, especially France. The names of the towns, villages, and even the operations are well-researched (as they should be) and even recreated with decent attention to detail.
