Optimizing the original Warzone for PS4 and Xbox One was a big problem, and those games are cross-play. The console content needed to be similar to the PC, but the console hardware wasn’t powerful enough to bring the new immersive content of Warzone. The new generation Warzone is releasing on November 16th.

The original Warzone isn’t getting shutting down. It will be a separate game named Warzone Caldera. The game stays with us, but it will go temporarily offline on November 16th and will be back with some changes.
