If you’ve seen Disney on Ice before, that’s no reason to skip another show! Each year, the exact shows touring and hitting the ice rinks around the world vary – and you can usually catch a new show featuring fresh music, new characters, and an entirely new storyline. To avoid missing certain characters, head over to the official Disney on Ice page to see which of the five shows currently skating are coming to your city. Operated 68 countries in partnership with Feld Entertainment since 1981, it’s the quality of Disney we all know and love, just in a totally different format!

You’ll be able to buy tickets online for any city you’re interested in. Ticket buying was easy to navigate, as you’re ported over to the Ticketmaster site to make final online payments. Using the Ticketmaster App or your Apple Wallet with e-tickets makes entry a breeze, especially when bringing the littlest fans in tow. Disney on Ice prices range from $15 to $90, depending on your seat selection and host city.

Remember, not every show has the same characters, so be sure to check out the “more details” section before hitting that buy tickets button! Hot Tip: Check with your local TV and radio stations when Disney on Ice is coming to your hometown; many offer free ticket giveaways closer to showtime.

At the Show: What to Expect from Disney on Ice

The staples of Disney on Ice we adults knew as kids are still there, but impressive additions (ring of fire on ice, anyone!?) make for a great show, especially for little ones ages 3 and up. When you enter the arena, you’ll find merch tables selling Disney on Ice staples like the usual light-up wands and Mickey ears (at our show, these also included Encanto pop-it style bracelets and necklace kits).

When the show begins, you’ll be able to see from pretty much any seat. The Olaf binoculars were great for catching the fine details of the “dissolvable snowflakes’ and reindeer fur in the first act of Frozen. The details captured on the casita from Encanto to the sequins on Mirabel’s skirt could be seen even from second bowl seating. While the characters are the stars of the show, adults will appreciate the attention to detail throughout.

For extra fun beyond the show itself, you can also find additional activities around the arena. For example, photo booths with show-themed backdrops were available in four locations at our local show. Tiered packages, which ranged from bronze ($25) to gold ($40) were available; purchase one of these, and you’ll get you a range of digital downloads and framed photo printouts.

How long is Disney on Ice? Run time averages between 1.5 to 2 hours, with a 15 to 20 minute intermission. So, if you need to work around bedtime, opt for the matinee shows.
