Do the Disney Princesses still walk around th... | planDisney (2024)

Hi Joanne ~

Characters no longer stroll around the parks but there are several different ways to meet them.

Character dining is a great way to have a fabulous meal while the characters come to your table. They sign autographs and pose for pictures. There are some locations that feature Disney Princesses including Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and 1900 Park Fare.

Some characters have permanent meet and greet locations in the parks. In the Magic Kingdom (MK), Princess Fairytale Hall features Cinderella, Rapunzel and other visiting Princesses. You can also find Ariel in her Grotto. Mickey appears in Town Square Theater (and he talks at this location!).

Other characters will appear in the parks without any sort of permanent structure. You will typically find Pluto in Town Square in MK. A Cast Member walks him out and they form a line for him to meet Guests.

You can check the schedule for meet and greets during your trip online at the link for Park Hours. From there select your date of visit and then the park you're planning to visit. It will bring up the entertainment schedule for that day.

Be sure to pick up a Times Guides as you enter the parks. They are also available at most merchandise locations and Guest Relations. You can also find entertainment schedules by downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile App. This app is free and available for both iPhones and Androids.

Another fun way to meet characters is by participating in special experiences like the Pirates and Pals FireworksVoyage or Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
