EastEnders spoilers follow from tonight's episode (January 4), which is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer. Some readers may prefer to avoid these storyline details, as the episode hasn't yet aired on BBC One.
EastEnders has confirmed who the father of Lily Slater's baby is
The BBC soap kicked off a huge, issue-based story on New Year's Day, when Stacey discovered that her 12-year-old daughter Lily was pregnant.
Wednesday's episode, which is already available to watch on BBC iPlayer, sees Lily tell Stacey and Jean that Jack and Sam's son Ricky Jnr is the baby's dad.
Stacey had learned the life-changing news while Lily recovered in hospital following a carbon monoxide leak at the house, and quickly found herself under scrutiny from the police and social services.
With Lily keen to keep the father's identity a secret, Stacey's priority has very much been ensuring that her daughter was safe.
Lily returned home from the hospital in today's episode, but Stacey was still hellbent on finding out what has been going on.
After an unsuccessful attempt to hack into Lily's laptop, Stacey decided to question Amy, and was even more unsettled to learn that Lily has been having problems at school.

As Stacey's worries intensifed, she finally started to put the pieces together when she spotted Lily waving at Jack's son Ricky from the window.
Stacey and Jean then both made another attempt to get answers from Lily, urging her to be honest and put their minds at rest.
Lily then confirmed that Ricky Jnr was indeed the father – but explained that they were not in a relationship and had only had sex once.
She begged Stacey not to share this with anyone else, insisting that Ricky could never know the truth.
Fans had already been speculating that Ricky Jnr was the father, but the question now is: will Stacey stick to her word, or is Jack's world about to be turned upside down too?
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
