Alastair (born: January 9, 1999 [age 25]), better known online as Eret (also known as TheEret), is an English gaming YouTuber known for playing Minecraft on YouTube and Twitch. They have competed in several MC Championships, having won MCC7 and MCC13.

MC Championship[]

MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.

• MC Championship 1: Team Pink Parrots. Teamed with JCTheCaster, Jameskii and ScotGriswold. Placed 20th individual and their team placed 5th overall.
• MC Championship 2: Team Green Guardians. Teamed with KaraCorvus, Krtzyy and Mefs. Placed 23rd individual and their team placed 6th overall.
• MC Championship 3: Team Pink Parrots. Teamed with Michaelmcchill, KingBurren and KaraCorvus. Placed 23rd individual and their team placed 6th overall.
• MC Championship 4: Did not participate.
• MC Championship 5: Team Aqua Horses. Teamed with Vikkstar123, PeteZahHutt and TommyInnit. Placed 23rd individual and their team placed 2nd overall.
• MC Championship 6: Team Lime Llamas. Teamed with Dream, GeorgeNotFound and Mefs. Placed 32nd individual and 3rd overall.
• MC Championship 7: Team Green Guardians. Teamed with PeteZahHutt, HBomb94 and FWhip. Placed 17th individual and their team placed 1st overall.
• MC Championship 8: Team Green Guardians. Teamed with GeorgeNotFound, Krtzyy and Sapnap. Placed 32nd individual and their team placed 4th overall.
  • Eret's computer blue-screened mid-tournament due to their hard drive dying. They had to completely reinstall Minecraft and didn't continue streaming.
  • They managed to successfully get their data recovered by their friend Jameskii a few days later.^[1]
• MC Championship 9: Team Green Guardians. Teamed with GeorgeNotFound, Krtzyy and Sapnap. Placed 37th individual and their team placed 2nd overall.
• MC Championship 10: Team Lime Llamas. Teamed with Niki Nihachu, Ph1LzA, and Technoblade. Placed 18th individual and their team placed 5th overall.
• MC Championship 11: Did not participate.
• MC Championship 12: Team Orange Ocelots. Was supposed to be teamed with Fundy, HBomb94, and Nihachu, but dropped out due to internet issues.
• MC Championship 13: Team Teal Turkeys. Teamed with Punz, IlluminaHD, and Krinios. Placed 26th individual and their team placed 1st overall.
• MC Championship 14: Team Orange Ocelots. Teamed with Quig, Shubble, and KaraCorvus. Placed 26th individual and their team placed 8th overall.
• MC Championship 15-16: Did not participate.
• MC Championship 17: Team Aqua Axolotls. Teamed with Antfrost, CaptainSparklez and KaraCorvus. Placed 33rd individual and their team placed 8th overall.
• MC Championship 18: Did not participate.
• MC Championship 19: Team Red Reindeer. Teamed with Krinios, GeorgeNotFound and Punz. Placed 23rd individual and their team placed 3rd overall.
• MC Championship 20: Team Red Rabbits. Teamed with Sapnap, SeaPeeKay & Nihachu.

Trivia[]

• Eret is openly bisexual and is known for people coming out during their live streams.
• They use any pronouns, notably he/him, she/her and they/them.^[2] For consistency, they/them pronouns are used in this article.
• They are currently a full-time student studying International Relations at the University of Southern California (USC), and live in LA full time.
• They are 6'3" (190 centimeters).
• They have ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.^[3][4][5]
• Eret betrayed L'Manberg on the Dream SMP server, leading the team into an ambush.
• They have a dog named Zack,^[6][7] and a cat called Goose.
• Eret has been dating content creator and twitch streamer ElainaExe since July of 2020. ^[8][9]
