Grace Amaris Rose O'Connell-Mikaelson is a siphoner-werewolf-vampire mortal triman. She is the daughter of Niklaus Mikaelson and Camille O'Connell-Mikaelson and the paternal younger half-sister of Hope Mikaelson.

She is the granddaughter of Ansel Aumont, Esther Mikaelson, Robert O'Connell, and Eleanor O'Connell; and the step-granddaughter of Mikael Agnarsson.

She is the niece of Sean and Gianna O'Connell. She is also the half-niece of Freya Mikaelsdottir, Keelin Malraux, Finn Mikaelson, Sage Mikaelson, Elijah Mikaelson, Dianna Mikaelssen, Kol Mikaelson, Davina Claire-Mikaelson, Rebekah Mikaelson, Henrik Mikaelson, Athina Mikaelson-Labonair, and Lily Anseldottir. She is also both the half-niece and adoptive younger sister of Marcellus Mikaelson.

She is the half-cousin of Matthew Mikaelson-Malraux, Eden Griffith-Malraux, Olympia Mikaelson, Nikolaus Mikaelson, and Vivienne Claire-Mikaelson. She is also the adoptive half-cousin of Saga Mikaelssen.

Grace is a member of the Mikaelson Family, the O'Connell Family, the Hagen Family, the Mikaelson Coven, and the North East Atlantic Pack. Through Hope, she is an adoptive member of the Crescent Werewolf Pack.

Biography[]

Birth[]

Grace's conception was discovered when her heartbeat was heard from within Camille's womb by various different members of her family. It was also later revealed to Klaus and Camille, that the child was developing healthily and appeared to be a baby girl when at a doctor's appointment.

Twenty weeks into her pregnancy, Camille was fatally bitten by Lucien Castle and the odds of survival were really low. So Camille asked the her daughter's aunts to deliver the baby early, so that she might have a chance to survive and live a life, even if her mother can't be saved. They did so and the delivery was successful, though Camille only got to hold her daughter for mere moments before succumbing to Lucien's bite.

About a week after her birth, Grace's family began to notice signs that she might be a siphoner rather than a full witch. unlike her half-sister Hope. She seemed to pull magic from her vampires relatives when they would hold her. Her paternal grandmother, Esther, hypothesized that since she was born four months early is what caused her to not develop into a full witch but rather develop into a siphoner who could use magic after pulling it from someone else.

Her father, Klaus, was not emotionally strong enough to spend time with his premature newborn daughter while her health seemed to be very delicate. However, he did have an incubator setup moved into his room after he was able to avenge Camille and kill Lucien.

Upon seeing Klaus hold his daughter as she walked by, Grace's half-aunt Dianna, noted to Klaus that the baby needs a name. Klaus then finally gave his two-day-old daughter the name Grace and stated that he hoped that grace was something his baby girl would inherit from her late mother, as "Camille lived with grace".

After the downfall of the Mikaelsons, which ended with her father captured and daggered under New Orleans and the rest of her family in coffins asleep to save their lives, she was made a ward of her half-aunt Dianna. She later moved out of New Orleans, surrounded and attached to medical supplies, along with her adoptive cousin Saga by Dianna.

2019[]

She was left with Hope and their cousins under the care of Mary Dumas, Hope's step-great-grandmother; while Dianna, Hayley, and Jackson went to go retrieve her and Hope's father and the rest of their family.

When her family is brought home along with her father, Grace ran down the steps, having been waiting to greet the only parent she had left in her life. She almost immediately falls asleep after being in her father's arms, feeling both relaxed and safe since he was now home.

Grace spends the day sketching, a hobby she shares with her father, and showing him all her different drawings. Though later, she has to travel back to New Orleans with her family after Hope falls ill due to a affliction from the Hollow.

She is then introduced to her adoptive brother Marcel by her aunt Freya in an effort to convince him to help them find out what they could about the abductions of the missing children and what is making Hope ill.

Grace then later attends part of the party her family three to draw out the followers of the Hollow. She also remains living with her family, being raised by her single father as her family fought the Hollow.

Later on, her aunt Freya succeeds in resurrecting Grace's mother, Camille, and she finally gets to meet her mother. Grace also remains being raised by both her parents, even after her family is forced to separate to keep Hope safe from the Hollow.

2026[]

She was attending Salvatore Boarding School with her cousins and sister where she befriended a werewolf named Henry Benoit, who she convinced her sister to give her blood to so that he could become a werewolf-vampire hybrid. She is later suspended for this along with her sister and cousins, and is picked up by her mother and taken back to New Orleans where she and her sister are grounded.

She later invites her headmistress into the Compound over the phone.

Grace stands about 4 foot 7 inches and weighs about 90 Ibs. She has curly hair that she inherits from her father, but has blonde hair that she inherited from her mother. She has blue eyes that she inherited from her father and freckles that she inherits from both parents, but according to her paternal half-uncle she freckles in a pattern more similar to her father than her mother.

She normally wears her long hair in a messy or neat bun or a variation of a ponytail. During the week as a student at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted in her own clothes she seems to favor whites, grays, blues, reds, and blacks for both her top and pants colors, normally leaning towards leggings in these colors or skinny jeans. She however will not wear the same color for both her top and pants.

She as a wolf; has off-white fur, yellow eyes, and is smaller than her sister in wolf form due to being younger.
