The good news is there are tons of indoor activities for kids in NJ that you can take advantage of. As a matter of fact, you may want to visit some of these locations even when the sun is still shining!
1. Seaport Aquarium. Located right on the the famous Wildwood boardwalk, the Seaport Aquarium is a great way to treat your family on a rainy day in Wildwood NJ. You and your family can enjoy the playful monkeys, pet the sharks, and check out the marine life and crocodiles on display.

2. Island Bowl. Enjoy traditional or moonlight bowling at Island Bowl, the area’s top bowling alley. Complete with pizza, refreshments, a video game arcade and the Islander Lounge sports bar, your family is sure to have a blast.

You, too, can step back in time and enjoy your favorite games of your youth, as well as the latest and greatest games of today.
5. The Wildwood Insectarium. Crazy about bugs? Well, maybe you aren’t, but chances are your children are! This insect museum is located on the boardwalk and features thousands of living and mounted insects. Enjoy interactive displays that keep the kids busy, and even try your hand at in the petting corner!
6. The Doo Wop Experience. Another historic Wildwood museum, this one is dedicated to preserving the ‘50s and ‘60s music and pop memorabilia. Located across from the Wildwoods Conservation Center in Fox Park, the museum opened in 2007 and new artifacts are added all the time, making it a constant work in progress. A rainy day in Wildwood NJ, will let you and your family enjoy a classic ‘50s diner, a retro-style malt shop, plus the “I-Wall” exhibit, an interactive display of Doo Wop motels and history of Wildwood as the hot rock-and-roll vacation spot of the 1950s.
