Hi!
I am wondering if SideQuest will mess up my device, or will I be able to use my Quest 2 just fine and not lose the warranty? I'm new to VR and the Quest 2.

Any third-party software is not prohibited by Meta, this is pretty standard procedure across most devices and is similar to "jailbreaking" your phone. If you choose to use third-party software, please do so at your own risk. Some users may not find it worth it, but others will come in and tell you it's fine.

Not only will you not mess up your device or risk your account? Sidequest just received over 12 million dollars in funding from Google Ventures. It’s going to become the de facto alternative app-store for VR.
The big reason Sidequest is safe, is because it doesn’t host pirated software. If the app has a paid version on the Oculus store? And nowhere else? Then It links to the app-page on the oculus store.
Sidequest is also the best way to find AppLab games awaiting approval (or that will never get approval). Because the only way to find applab games on the official store? Is by already knowing the EXACT name of it. Which can make the process a little frustrating.
