The Loch Santos Monster[3] is a creature resembling the Loch Ness Monster from Scottish folklore, and appears as an easter egg in Grand Theft Auto Online, as part of The Cayo Perico Heist update.

Description[]
In the Scottish folklore, the Loch Ness Monster is said to inhabit Loch Ness in Scotland, where Rockstar Games originated from. It is often described as large, long-necked, and with one or more humps protruding from the water. Modern depictions of the creature resemble the present-day Plesiosaur, which the Loch Santos Monster also closely resembles.
Though unnamed within GTA Online itself, the prop of the creature is attributed the name "Loch Santos Monster" when viewed on the Rockstar Games Social Club map for the Cayo Perico Heist.
The creature's existence is first hinted at during Heist Prep: Gather Intel if the player takes a Snapmatic photo of the sand sculpture behind the bar at the Cayo Perico Beach Party on West Beach and sends it to Pavel.

The Loch Santos Monster can only be seen during The Cayo Perico Heist finale, and appears in different spots either at the beginning of the heist finale or while escaping the island by boat. If the player gets too close to the monster, it will dive down quickly. The monster is technically a prop object and cannot be killed.
