When asked about what to eat and avoid during this event, Acharya Ji was quick to respond that “One should stay away from eating white foods as the kind of rays that emit during the eclipse period can bring certain bacteria, which can cause infections in your body. However, the astrological aspect of this Grahan or eclipse says that one should donate white foods like rice, flour, sugar and white sweets to the needy, as this strengthens your moon chart. This is because astrologically it is believed that the body is made of seven colours and the Moon rays impact the way we think and feel.” While Chandigarh-based Tarot Reader Aayushi Bhargava says that during the eclipse, it is prohibited to eat certain foods like fish, chicken, eggs, and other meats, onion and even garlic. One should stay away from drinking alcohol and related drinks. Thus, one should be extra careful of their eating habits.
