Maryland Ranked 3rd On 'Most Educated States In America' - The BayNet (1)byJJ Atchison

MARYLAND – According to WalletHub’s Most & Least Educated States in America 2024 list, Maryland is the 3rd best state in the nation when it comes to education right behind Vermont and Massachusetts.

WalletHub based its ranking on two primary factors: educational attainment and quality of education.

Among all 50 states, Maryland ranked 4th in educational attainment and 5th in quality of education. According to WalletHub, Maryland has a high level of education at the high school level. The state also has a free statewide community college program.

Maryland was also ranked 2nd on the percentage of graduate or professional degree holders and 4th on the percentage of bachelor’s degree holders.
