The Middle East is a region that spans southwestern Asia, southeastern Europe, and northeastern Africa. The Middle East has been featured in Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Heroes, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).

Call of Duty 2[]
In Call of Duty 2, six of the British Campaign missions take place in northeastern Africa; The Diversionary Raid, Holding the Line, Operation Supercharge, and The End of the Beginning in Egypt, and Crusader Charge and 88 Ridge in Libya.
Modern Warfare[]
In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the OpFor, led by Khaled Al-Asad came to power during a violent military coup in the Capital City of an unnamed Arab country, securing its mineral wealth and cementing itself as a major power in the Middle East. Their coup culminated in the dramatic execution of former President Yasir Al-Fulani on international television.
Following their rise to power, American Marines entered the country in an attempt to remove the OpFor from power. Though the search for Al-Asad was unsuccessful, the Americans were able to score multiple victories during their brief campaign. In just a few days, the bulk of Al-Asad's forces had been pushed back to the Capital City where they were making their last stand. However, as US forces closed in on the last enemy stronghold, the OpFor detonated a large nuclear warhead, obliterating all American forces in the vicinity.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the player controls a U.S. Army Ranger named Joseph Allen in Firebase Phoenix, located in Afghanistan. Shortly after in the game, the US Army Rangers are deployed to a city mainly under OpFor control, but eventually manage to clear the suburbs and a local school.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 featured a brief flashback from Shock and Awe.
Black Ops[]
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, a militia on Socotra Island, Yemen was created in the rise of Cordis Die in 2025. However, the Yemeni and US Army were deployed to quell the rebellion.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the Nile River Coalition and Egypt were fighting a war between territorial disputes in the Nile River, and was a major war in the shadow of the ongoing Third Cold War.
Ghosts[]
In Call of Duty: Ghosts, a short war between Israel and neighboring countries, dubbed "Tel Aviv War", almost crippled world economy, and subsequently enabled the rise of the Federation.
