Minecraft Festival is an in-person Minecraft convention similar to MINECON that is planned to be held in Orlando, Florida, on a yet to be announced date. It was originally set to be held from September 25–27, 2020, but was postponed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2][3] The online portion of the event is called Minecraft Live! [sic][4]

Announcement[]
At MINECON Live 2019 on September 28, 2019, it was announced that Minecraft Festival would be held in Orlando, Florida, through 25–27 September 2020.[5]
On March 5, 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed until late 2021, due to safety concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
On September 3, 2020, during the announcement of Minecraft Live 2020, it was announced that the festival has been postponed to a yet to be announced date in 2022.[2]
On January 3, 2022, a Mojang employee stated that Minecraft Festival would not take place in 2022.[3]
Location[]
Minecraft Festival will be held in the South Hall at the Orange County Convention Center, located at 9899 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819.[6]
Tickets[]
Tickets will be available for purchase online beginning on an undetermined date.

There is a limit of 12 tickets per transaction. Attendees are able to purchase up to four Upgrade Package Tickets (Diamond and Gold) and eight tickets of any other type.[6]
Minecraft Festival tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.[6]
Cape[]
It was announced that those attending Minecraft Festival would receive an exclusive Minecraft Festival cape, compatible with both Java and Bedrock editions.[7] The cape design is unknown.
