Yesterday we shared the news that Disney Character Meet & Greets would be returning starting on April 18th at Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise, and More!

Today we have exciting news to share… New Paid Disney Character Meet & Greet options have been revealed ahead of their return! While guests originally thought they would be able to hug Mickey or get an autograph from Mulan for FREE that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Guests with deep pockets can now pay additional money for an enhanced Disney Character Experience.
Here is a breakdown of the new pricing details:
- Disney Character Hugs are $10 each
- Autographs are $5 per autograph (limit 2)
- Photographs are $2 each and you must provide your own device (does not include photo pass)
- Guests can buy the Super Premium Platinum Package that comes with all of the items listed above for the discounted price of $19.95 and as an added bonus they will get additional time with the characters.

Cast Members will be on hand with portable on-demand payment devices or POPs for guests to use to swipe/tap their credit cards. Sorry, no cash, please.
It should be noted that guests will have a maximum of 5 minutes per character interaction unless they purchased the Super Premium Platinum Package and they will be given an additional 2 minutes of character time.
Proof of vaccination is required.

During the past two years, Disney has taken a very gradual, intentional approach tohealth and safety protocols.Recent trends and guidance have provided opportunities for them to bring back some of their most beloved magic, like character greetings and dining experiences. While not all locations will be available immediately, they anticipate reopening in phases throughout the spring and early summer.
The new paid Disney Character options will be rolled out starting on April 31st at all Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Resort locations. Disney Cruise Line rollout will begin on June 31st.
