NRG Stadium Bag Policy (2024)

NRGPark in Houston, Texas has a clear bag policy for allevents. Bags must be CLEAR plastic and cannot exceed 12” X 6” X 12”. Small clutch purse is allowed (which does not need to be clear) no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”.

To expedite entry into NRG Park events, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the clear bag policy guidelines and bring a clear stadium approved bag that meets the specifications outlined by the venue. Below is a summary of what you need to keep in mind whenattending a concert, match or sports game; and the specifications for theclear stadium bags required.

NRG Bag Policy For Fans:

• All bags brought into the stadium must be CLEAR plastic and cannot exceed a size of 12” x 6” x 12”.
• Fans are allowed One clear bag per person entering the stadium.
• Small clutch purse is allowed (which does not need to be clear) no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
• No tinted bags, they must be completely clear.
• Seat cushions are allowed without pockets or zippers.

NRG StadiumBag Rules were generated based on theNFL Clear Bag Policy and adopted the same security measures and guidelines for their events.

PROHIBITEDitems into the Stadium include:

• Fanny Packs.
• Backpacks. (Clear Backpacks also Not Allowed)
• Luggage.
• Cinch Bags.
• Laptop Bags.
• Coolers (here is a stadium approved clear lunch bag you can use instead).

NOTE: Fans will need to go through metal detector screening and all belongings are subject to inspection. Keep in mind, if you do not bring a clear stadium bag that complies with the clear bag policy they do not have a place to store your belongings and you will be asked to return your prohibited items to your vehicle.

  Hello Tiffany. According to the NRG stadium clear bag policy and the data we found online, fanny packs are not allowed. Many companies list the clear fanny packs as stadium approved because there are a few venues that allow these. NRG Stadium does not seem to be one of them. We would recommend you contact the venue directly for further clarification or get a stadium approved tote or purse listed on our blog article.   I ordered a clear Fanny pack off of Amazon because it said it was stadium approved. It is 11 × 6.5 × 5.9
  Can I bring this or do I need to get a different bag
