To remain in your Relationship Tier, you need to make sure your Combined Average Monthly Balance doesn’t drop below your Relationship Tier’s minimum Balance Range for 3 consecutive calendar months.1

  • Citi offers Checking, Savings and Certificate of Deposit (CD) accounts to help you with your finances. You can choose between an Access Checking or Regular Checking account depending on your banking needs. With a Citi savings account, you can earn interest, get access to cash and save seamlessly with automatic transfers. In addition, Citi offers multiple CD term options ranging from three (3) months to five (5) years. You can enjoy Relationship Tier benefits and features when you open and maintain an eligible deposit account in addition to meeting a Balance Range of at least $30,000 within three (3) calendar months. Note: some benefits will vary, depending on which types of accounts you have.1

  • Through simplified banking, Citi is transforming the customer experience – whether you’re managing your everyday finances or growing your wealth. This includes streamlining our checking and savings products, providing new ways to waive Monthly Service Fees, introducing Relationship Tiers for increased benefits and features, and automatically linking Eligible Deposit and Investment accounts you own to help you meet balance requirements.   • To apply online, you must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. resident alien and at least 18 years old. You'll need to provide a physical address in the U.S., date of birth and applicable identification documentation which may include a Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification number.

  • To get started with Citibank Online, you’ll first need to open an account with Citi. Then, you’ll need your Citi Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account number to set up online access.

    Once you’ve gathered all the necessary information, go to citi.com/register and follow the steps. You’ll need to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification number and create a username and password.

  • Getting started with Citi’s mobile banking requires a few simple steps:

    1.Open an account with Citi.
    2.Visit citi.com/register to set up your login information and security authentication. This will require you to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification number and set up a username and password.
    3.Download and open the free Citi Mobile banking app2 using the same login information you set up on Citi.com. Alternatively, you can set up your login information and security authentication directly in the Citi Mobile app.

    Once you’ve followed these steps, you’ll be able to access mobile banking with ease.

  • To make a Mobile Check Deposit2 with your Citi account, you’ll first need to log in to your Citi Mobile app,2 then select “Payments” from the menu. Once there, select “Deposit Checks.” To complete a one-time enrollment before using the service, review and accept the terms & conditions. Select the account you’re depositing the check into and enter the amount of the check (limits may apply). Once you’ve filled in those details, endorse your check and take a picture of the front and back through the mobile app. Tap “Submit” to upload the photos, and you will receive a confirmation email from Citi to let you know your check has been deposited.

  • An online wire transfer allows you to send money from your Citibank account to accounts at other financial institutions in the US and internationally. Depending on the international destination, a wire may be sent in USD or in the local foreign currency.

    To initiate a domestic wire transfer, you’ll need the payee’s name, account number and routing number. For international wires, you’ll need the currency in which the payee’s account is held, the payee’s name, foreign address, account number and destination routing information.

    •Start with the “Add Payee” step by choosing the wire destination, currency (for foreign wires) and adding the payee’s details. (For your protection, the initial wire transfer to a new payee may be held for up to two (2) business days for review)
    •Complete a one-time Wires Enrollment (this step is only required for first-time wires)
    •Send money to your payee

    Sign in to initiate a wire transfer via Citi’s Payment Hub.
