Its not an argument or what but we can almost all agree that zoro is stronger than sanji even with the raid suit. However, sanji who doesn't use his hand on a fight and giving his time more in cooking is even more amazing that sanji can go on par with zoro. If sanji is given a time to use the sword instead, I can see the possibility of sanji surpassing zoro. Zoro is the epitome of hardwork, while sanji is a plain genius with a dirty mind.
But in the end, I don't agree of sanji using sword because his position in the strawhat is a cook. And a cook should always take care of their hands

Hm, how about if we use feats to compare between them? Obviously they wouldn't fight each other seriously, but are there enemies Sanji cannot beat at full power that Zoro has beaten?
But then enemies like Pica can't really count since there also exists characters like Buggy who Zoro can't really beat assuming any slash doesn't work on Buggy.
Armament Haki could potentially bypass Buggy’s splitting, like how it negates Logia invulnerability. Sanji would not surpass Zoro if he trained with a sword, he is an expert with a knife but swords are Zoro’s territory. Currently I believe Zoro is stronger than Sanji with or without the Raid Suit but this will definitely change
I don't believe simply giving Sanji a sword would give him an advantage. Zoro is someone who's been training with swords since his childhood. If Sanji were to start learning how to use a sword for fighting right now, it's very unlikely he'll ever catch up to Zoro's swordsmanship skill/prowess let alone surpass it.
On the other hand, as a cook I can say a French knife is the most important tool in the kitchen, and every cook at some point or another learns how to properly cut with a knife. So, this being said; may I propose... Sanji parrying Zoro's swords with a knife/dagger?
If zoro was in a serious fight where sanji was an enemy, zoro would most likely win. I'm pretty sure kenbunshoku haki can still detect sanji's invisibility, while the invisibility cannot make him untouchable. It will definitely be a close call, but zoro will win
I’m about to finish Fishman Island arc, & my take on this fight is that from the moment both met, Zoro has always been superior/stronger in combat. Up to this point, Zoro definitely got much stronger under the guidance of Mihawk. You won’t get the job done against Zoro with just kicks.
Yeah, I'm sure we all think Zoro is above Sanji based on the plot. I do too.
What I meant is that are there feats that actually tell us straight out that Sanji's combat ability is inferior to Zoro's? Also, keep in mind that a sword slash (haki or not) can usually directly clash with bare body with armament haki in this show.
