SSC MTS Syllabus 2024: Candidates preparing for the upcoming SSC Multi Tasking Staff 2024 Exam will get complete information in the official notification for syllabus and exam pattern. SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024

SSC MTS 2024 revised Exam Pattern can be checked here for all subjects here which consist of 40 questions in session 1 and 50 questions in session 2, for which complete timing will be 45 minutes per session.

• As per the exam pattern, a Computer-Based Examination will be conducted which is divided into 2 Sessions: Session I and Session II. It is mandatory to attempt both Sessions. Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.
• Paper- I will be objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
• There will be no negative marking in Session I. In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
• The normalization of marks will be done.
• The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and other 13 languages.

SSC MTS Marking Scheme

The Computer Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The first session of the Computer Based Test contains 40 questions and the second session contains 50 questions. The entire exam is worth 270 marks and there will be no negative marking in the first session of the exam.

Each wrong answer in the second session of the exam will result in 1 mark being deducted from their overall score.Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions. Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examination, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

SSC MTS PET & PST Pattern 2024

The candidates qualifying for the cutoff for the computer-based examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test and the Physical Standard Test.

• The PET exam consists of a Walking Test the parameters for which are: 1600 meters in 15 minutes for the male candidates and 1 Km in 20 minutes for the female candidates.
• In the PST exam, the candidates will be examined based on the candidates’ height, chest size, and weight. The tables below will provide a better idea of the pattern of this stage of the selection process.

• The height standard applicable to the male candidates is relaxable by 5 cm and 2.5 cm for female candidates in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes.
• The weight criteria are relaxable by 2 kg, in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes.
