"Greetings" was actually the first "X"-rated film,
the first credited screen role for Robert DeNiro
& the directorial debut of Brian DePalma.
The rating was later changed to "R",
but it was originally "X". The first movie
to be originally released with an "R" rating
was "The Split", starring Gene Hackman
& Jim Brown.
