Spring turkey season dates

Apr. 20 through Jun. 7, 2024 (see regulations summaryfor full unit and date details)

Spring turkey hunting licenses

From Jan. 1 – Feb. 1, you can apply for one limited-quota license valid for a specific spring turkey hunt unit during specific season dates. You must be at least 10 years oldor have a mentored youth hunting license to apply.

Drawing results

There is no guarantee that leftover licenses will be available for any hunt unit. If you applied for the drawing, were unsuccessful and have your base license, you may purchase a leftover turkey license from any license agent, onlineor through the Michigan DNR Hunt Fish app, on a first-come, first-served basis for a one-week period beginning Mar. 18 at 10 a.m. EST. If you did not apply for the drawing, you may purchase any limited-quota licenses that remain as of Mar. 25 at 10 a.m. EST if you have a current base license.
