Warzone 2 has three different types of backpacks:
- Light backpack
- Medium backpack
- Large backpack
Players must loot or find a medium or large backpack to be able to carry three weapons. With the medium or large backpack equipped, players can stow items they find on the ground, including weapons. Players need to stow the third weapon in their backpack, albeit they will need to equip it when the need arises manually.
