Is Zoro a reincarnation of Ryuma?
Zoro is not only the great-nephew of Ushimaru, one of the last Daimyo of Wano, and a direct descendant of the legendary Ryuma, but he is also a distant relative of Kuina, his childhood friend whose tragic death inspired him to become the strongest swordsman in the world.
Who is Zoro's father? Roronoa Arashi is confirmed to be the father of our beloved swordsman, Roronoa Zoro.
He was revered for his mastery of swordsmanship that earned him the title Sword God, as well as his feat of slaying a dragon. He is also the direct ancestor of Shimotsuki Ushimaru and Roronoa Zoro.
Ryuma was known as sword God in his prime, and one of his multiple feats include slaying a dragon. Under his care, Shusui was turned into a black blade, which makes him the only person other than Mihawk to turn a blade black with haki. It is easy to see that, right now, Zoro isn't anywhere close to the level of Ryuma.
TL;DR: Zoro is a clone of Ryuma created by Vegapunk while the scientist was in the East Blue. In the same vein that people theorized that Momo's fruit was a failure because it produced a pink dragon instead of a blue one, Zoro was regarded as a failure because he had green hair instead of Ryuma's dark hair.
Since it has been confirmed that Zoro is Shimotsuki Ushimaru's descendant it also confirms that he is also a legitimate descendant of the legendary samurai of Wano country who is also known as the God of Blade, Shimotsuki Ryuma.
In One Piece volume 105, Oda revealed Zoro's family history. His father, Roronoa Arashi, was killed by pirates and his mother, Tera, died of illness when he was young.
Unfortunately, Ryuma didn't get to enjoy a long life. At the age of 47, he passed away due to an unknown illness. His body was buried within the shrine that was built at the Northern Cemetery at Ringo, his hometown. And just like the other citizens of Ringo, his graveyard was marked by his beloved sword, Shusui.
Roronoa Zoro, also known as "Pirate Hunter" Zoro, is a main combatant of the Straw Hat Pirates, one of their two swordsmen, one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, and is publicly recognized as the right-hand man of his crew's captain Monkey D. Luffy.
Zorro shares his lineage with the legendary swordsman of Wano Country, Shimotsuki Ryuma. Fans know Ryuma from the Thriller Bark arc, where it was revealed that Moria had stolen the corpse of the legendary samurai and reanimated it with Brook's shadow.
Is Zoro's family revealed?
Along with Zoro's parents being revealed, it turns out he is also related to other renowned One Piece characters. The previously mentioned Ushimaru is a descendant of the legendary swordsman of Wano, Shimotsuki Ryuma -- and Furiko and Zoro are also of Ryuma's lineage.
Ryuma wielded Shusui once again when he was revived as a zombie, and later bequeathed it to Zoro upon his defeat. Upon seeing it, Tashigi was awed, while Kin'emon became determined to challenge Zoro so the sword can be returned to Wano Country.
Dracule Mihawk is the current World's Strongest Swordsman. Undoubtedly, he is one of the mightiest fighters in the One Piece series. Mihawk is a man as strong, if not stronger, than Shanks, who is an outstanding individual in his own right.
Quite easily one of the toughest battles that Zoro has been in is the one that he fought against Dracule Mihawk, the man who currently holds the title of the World's Strongest Swordsman. Zoro challenged him during the Baratie arc and found out the gulf of power between him and the World's Strongest Swordsman.
Shusui is one of the 21 Great Grade swords and a "Black Blade" (黒刀, Kokutō?) that was once wielded by the legendary samurai Shimotsuki Ryuma. It is prized as the national treasure of the Wano Country. After his death, the katana was buried with Ryuma, until his grave was robbed by Gecko Moria 23 years ago.
Surprisingly, Kawamatsu noted that Zoro's physical appearance was just like that of Ryuma. In fact, Ryuma was also known to be a one-eyed samurai, just like Zoro.
The Essence of Black Blades
Only two blades, Mihawk's Yoru and Ryuma's Shusui have been confirmed as Black Blades in the One Piece universe.
And since he was a strong warrior with an indomitable soul in life as Ryuma, he was reincarnated again as a stronger warrior in his next life as Zoro.
Roronoa Arashi was the son of Shimotsuki Furiko and Roronoa Pinzoro. He is the father of Roronoa Zoro and the husband of Tera.
Young Zoro meets Kuina, his dojo master's daughter. They both swear to strive to become the strongest sword-fighter in the world.
What race is Kaido?
Oni. The Oni are a rather mysterious race, as almost nothing is known about them. They haven't been officially introduced in the series yet, but there is no doubt that they will be confirmed as a separate race sooner rather than later. There are two known members of this race: Kaido and Yamato.
Roronoa zoro's current love is only his swords and his sword style. But in series it has been observed that he is interested in tashigi because of his similarity to his childhood friend kuina. It may be interesting to see their love story.
It would mean that Enma is technically a grade better than Shusui, the Shusui only being O Wazamono because it was blackened. This would explain why Enma is stronger, despite also being O Wazamono. Enma reached O Wazamono grade before being blackened and is actually a Saijo O Wazamono grade when blackened.
When he was alive, Ryuma possessed an incredibly powerful Armament Haki. He was able to make his sword, Shusui, a Black Blade. During the entire timeline of the One Piece series, no one else, except for him and Dracule Mihawk, were ever able achieve this exceptional feat.
Kozuki Hiyori offered the Enma sword as compensation for Shusui since it was a national treasure that had been missing for years. Eventually, the Shusui sword was returned directly to its rightful owner, Ryuma's grave, after Zoro accepted the offer.
In the two-year time skip, Zoro trained under Dracule Mihawk, popularly known as Hawk Eyes Mihawk. One of the popular theories is that the scar on Zoro's left eye is a training mishap. Many believe that Zoro lost his left eye during his training in some sort of accident or battle.
Demon Asura Zoro
Zoro's left eye has glown multiple times throughout the series, most prominently during the Water 7 saga. In fact, Zoro not opening his eye could be him successfully controlling the power and surge of the demon Asura, which he couldn't before.
Currently, Zoro's nickname and title is “Pirate Hunter Zoro.” I doubt it will change to anything other than the “World's Greatest Swordsman” once he achieves this feat. Both of these nicknames are already really cool. If I had to choose one myself I think “Demon King” would be pretty cool.
Introduction. Roronoa Senshi is the twin sister of pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro She was a wanderer for a long time, drifting from island to island in search of her brother before circumstances led to her becoming a pirate.
It can be assumed that Shanks is the son of none other than Saint Garling Figarland This also makes sense, given the fact that Garling Figarland doesn't appear to be all that old. 38 years ago, when the God Valley Incident took place, Saint Garling must have been quite young and at a reasonable age to be a father.
Who crafted Enma?
Crafted by none other than the legendary swordsmith Shimotsuki Kozaburou, Enma is one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords to exist in the world of One Piece. Kozaburou forged his sword when in Wano and to the day of his death, he remembered this blade as his greatest creation.

Zoro would be from Japan. Nami would be from Norway. Usopp would be from South Africa. Sanji would be from France.
There has been no concrete evidence that Zoro and Mihawk are in anyway related by blood to each other. Zoro is Mihawk's disciple, and aims to beat Mihawk to become the strongest swordsman in the world. That's it.
Enma is the strongest sword possessed by Zoro of the Straw Hat Pirates right now. What is Zoro's weakest sword? Sandai Kitetsu has to be the weakest sword Zoro has used until now in the One Piece manga and anime.
Zoro's first-ever named sword is already of great quality. Wado Ichimonji is one of the 21 Great Grade Swords, which is only inferior to the Supreme Grade Sword. It was forged by the legendary Shimotzuki Kozaburo, who also forged Enma, and was handed down to his descendants including Kuina.
Wado Ichimonji has been Zoro's most iconic weapon since day one. Another one of the 21 Great Grade Meito swords, the sword has become synonymous with the Straw Hat swordsman, coming in handy throughout his many difficult battles. Like his tow unnamed katanas, Wado Ichimonji was crafted by Shimotsuki Kozaburo.
Even so, there are still a few characters outside of his reach. The Yonko, at large, are still characters Zoro likely won't be able to defeat for quite some time. It's safe to say that Zoro is not yet at the level needed to reach his goal of defeating Mihawk and becoming the World's Greatest Swordsman.
This makes Mihawk one of the few known Warlords whose strength is based solely on human abilities and skill, being completely human (Jimbei being a Fish-man and Bartholomew Kuma being a Pacifista Cyborg), and possessing no Devil Fruit powers.
Kaido is one of the best fights that fans have seen in One Piece over the years, if not the best. The fight is, undoubtedly, the most difficult one that Luffy has fought so far. Kaido managed to defeat Luffy three times. For the first time, Luffy faced defeat against him Kuri and was thrown in prison.
What is Zoro's weakest sword?
Being of the lowest grade of the three swords, Sandai Kitetsu is the weakest of all the Kitetsu swords. Its name also indicates it was the last of the three to be made. The panel of Zoro keeping Sandai Kitetsu in the manga is extremely similar to that of Zoro keeping Enma.
Lack of Orientation. One of Zoro's most prominent weaknesses is his utter inability to follow directions, resulting in him frequently getting lost. He only became a bounty hunter after leaving Shimotsuki Village because he lost his way while out at sea looking for Mihawk.
After an intense sword fight, during which the entire roof collapses to the ground below, Zoro finally defeats Ryuma using a technique which sets him ablaze.
One Piece Theory: Mihawk Is the Son of Silvers Rayleigh and Shakky.
1. Dracule Mihawk. Dracule Mihawk, better known as Hawk Eyes, is recognized as the “World's Greatest Swordsman” in One Piece right now.
In the Sbs of volume #105 of One Piece, shared and translated by many online sources, including Artur - Library of Ohara, Eiichiro Oda takes the chance to clarify once and for all Zoro's ancestry, revealing that he is, indeed, a descendant of the Shimotsuki clan from Wano.
With all this we can conclude that Ryuma is most likely from the "Void Century" and lived in the time of Joy Boy, time when the Planet of One Piece had 7 moons and time where the Ancestral Weapons were active.
Shimotsuki Ushimaru is NOT Zoro's father, Oda confirms
In One Piece Vol. 101 SBS which released in December 2021, Oda had confirmed that Ushimaru is not Zoro's father.
As Brook watches on, he comes to the conclusion that Ryuma was never taking their fights seriously. After an intense sword fight, during which the entire roof collapses to the ground below, Zoro finally defeats Ryuma using a technique which sets him ablaze. Zoro lands hard on the lip of the roof below.
Not related to Ryuma or anything, Ryuma was just a past life for him. And since he was a strong warrior with an indomitable soul in life as Ryuma, he was reincarnated again as a stronger warrior in his next life as Zoro.
Who is Roronoa Zoro's name based on?
Zoro was originally planned to be part of Buggy the Clown's pirate crew and would have been recruited by Luffy away from Buggy. Zoro's surname was based on the Japanese pronunciation of French pirate François l'Olonnais.
Despite being several times weaker than the original, the zombie created by Ryuma's corpse was rather powerful. A testament to this was when he easily defeated Brook by merely using a fraction of his strength, which is how he was able to hold back impressively.
Secondly, the Joy Boy of the past did indeed have the powers of the Hito Hito no Mi: Model Nika, as Zunesha, a centuries-old being associates the Awakening of this Devil Fruit with his long-lost comrade's presence. The reveal of who Joy Boy is is one that falls in line with One Piece's established narrative perfectly.
Meanwhile, Furiko eventually married a village swordsman and gave birth to Roronoa Arashi, Zoro's father.
