On the other hand, a strong electrolyte such as an ionic salt (NaCl or KCl) or a strong acid (HCl or sulphuric acid) or a strong base (NaOH or KOH) dissociate in aqueous solution and hence produce current carrying ions. Hence, they do conduct electrical current.
