Continue (and slightly debunking) my theory Are Lila and Marinette cousins?
Wow, I’ve been gone for three months. Okay let’s start although my theory is, tbh, is EXTREMELY STUPID.
I’m trying to imagine Chloe and Zoe and realising Marinette and Lila are in Chloé and Zoé’s situation (same mother, different father). Before Tom married Sabine, he was dating Lila’s mum and got her pregnant, than he met Sabine and married her and eventually gave birth to Marintte and Lila’s mum, as a single mother gave birth to Lila.
This version is a bit darker, when Sabine gave birth to both Lila and Marinette (one of them being older), Lila was given up to an adoption agency due to Tom and Sabine having a lot of debts and can’t raise two children. Lila’s mum than adopted Lila and raised her as her own.
Lila and Marinette may be aware (because Lila has Tom’s hair and eye colour) about it and led to act of rivalry, since Lila was angry that Tom left her mother and had Marinette as a half sister, and got her into trouble multiple times as revenge on her father and stepmother.
For the other version, Lila finds out about her father and mother and blames everything on Marinette by getting her in trouble for making her being adopted and neglected by her adopted mother. When school comes along, she did as much to get rid of her and her biological family’s existence in her memory. So this is why she tried getting her expelled in Ladybug (episode) .
