Bloxburg, formerly known as "Los Angelox" and abbreviated as BA, is a major city located in the western region of Robloxia's Southern Bloxburg Valley. As the most populous city in the state of Bloxburg Valley, Bloxburg City boasts executive, legislative, and judicial powers, and is considered to be the main political, economic, social, academic, financial, business, tourism, cultural, communications, entertainment, and fashion center of Robloxia.

This vibrant city has played host to several of the nation's most significant historical and media events, and is recognized as a global city, being one of the most important financial and cultural centers in the world. With a GDP of 797.697 million dollars in 2018, higher than the economies of cities such as Blockfield and Brookhaven, surpassing Livetopia state. Bloxburg City is an economic powerhouse, contributing 17% to the total national GDP and 27% to the economic growth of the country that year. Its average growth rate of 6.8% is also higher than the national average.

With over 13 million people residing in Greater Bloxburg City, it is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world and the second largest in Robloxia, behind the Robloxia Capital District (Greater Brookhaven). The city is also the county seat of Carmen County, one of the most populous and ethnically diverse counties in the country. Its own city, Bloxburg, is known for its diversity, and its inhabitants are referred to as "Bloxburgians".

Despite the high prices and expensive toll cost (25 ROBUX), many Robloxians believe that the benefits of living in a functioning city are worth the expense.

History[]

From the 900s to 1510, Bloxburg was another kingdom along with Brookhaven. It was one of the most powerful nations on Roblox. Bloxburg was described as a land of great wealth and power.

In the early days, Henry I didn't have knowledge of the land or a clear objective of development, other than to make sure he and his relatives were able to survive.

He was satisfied of his work until 1515, when he was notified of the Korblox Empire. The second time the Korblox Empire showed up was 1516, in the middle of a civil war, when King Korblox was on the run. Henry's brother was killed; Henry's wife was in danger of being killed; Henry needed help but could not muster an army strong enough at that time, so Henry drafted every citizen.

Bloxburg was destroyed and restored to its uncultivated state by the Korblox Empire.

In 1520, after the defeat of the Robloxian Empire and the Korblox Empire, Bloxland colonized the land that is now Bloxburg. The current city of Bloxburg was constructed as a town, but it rapidly advanced, eventually converting to a city in 1528.

In 1535, the Viceroyalty of New Bloxburg was officially founded. The new city of Bloxburg was established replacing the old Bloxburg, recognized by a royal charter, dated 1545, as the Most Noble and Illustrious, Most Loyal and Imperial City of Bloxburg by Korblox I.

At that time, it was declared the state capital of the Bloxburg Valley and from then on it functioned as the political, financial and administrative center of the territories.

In 1586, when King Korblox I was 80, he lost the war and Korblox II was crowned king at the age of 53. Later, on November 1st, 1586, Korblox I died. This formed the District of Bloxburg and/or Brookhaven (DOB). In 1794 to 1799, the viceroyalty descended into a bloody war. By the end of the war, no border changes were made. Bloxian rule over the capital city came to an end when the War of Independence ended in 1821, with the entrance of the Royal Trigarante Army into the city. The status of seat of government was ratified in the Act of Independence of the Kingdom of Bloxburg, which named it the Monarch Palace.

In 1823, with the proclamation of the First Federal Republic, The Kingdom of Bloxburg (1821-1823) officially ended, and on November 18, 1824, the Congress decided to create an Autonomous District (i.e. an entity distinct from the other cities), to house the Executive, Legislative and Judicial powers in a territory belonging to a particular state, to avoid the hegemony of one state over the rest of the federation. Thanks to Coeptus VI and others who supported its cause, Bloxburg City was chosen as the place where the powers of the union would be concentrated.

Bloxburg City had several name changes during its different types of government.

In 1904, elections were held to choose the new official name of the city and the representatives of the Legislative Assembly. The Legislative Assembly of Bloxburg City was formed, as is the case with state legislatures in Robloxia, so the city had no official name and was simply called "Bloxburg" or "Charter City of Bloxburg." It was until 1910 that the city was officially called "Autonomous City of Bloxburg" after years with that name the new law of Robloxia decided to change the name to "Bloxburg BLX" in 1920 it was until 1940 that its name officially changed to "Los Angelox".

In 1945, yet another name change occurred, renaming the city to Blacksburg (legislation still called it Los Angelox) until 2008, when it was renamed to Bloxburg. However, city legislation would still call it Los Angelox.

On January 29, 2010, Bloxburg legally ceased to be Los Angelox (abbreviated LA or LX) and was officially renamed "Bloxburg City" (or "BA" Bloxburg Autonomous). On that date, Bloxburg City began a transition to become a capital entity of the country, granting it a level of autonomy comparable to that of a state. It would have its own constitution and legislature, and its delegations would now be headed by mayors. However, due to a clause in Robloxia's constitution, as the seat of the powers of the federation, it could never become a new capital, or the country's capital would have to be moved elsewhere.

Also, the designations Bloxburg BLX, Autonomous City of Bloxburg and Los Angelox are no longer used, to use only the term Bloxburg City.

Only 10.5% of commuters use the public transportation system, compared to 53% and 30% in Brookhaven and Blockfield respectively. The rail system averages 276 900 trips per day, this is 0.4% of the 65 million made daily in the city by other means.

Since August 2010, work has been underway on a comprehensive project in west BA, called the Santa Catalina Freeway, which will connect the Santa Fe freeways and will consist of elevated roadways on North Periphery and South Periphery, and the roadway system of the South Periphery, and the city's southwest road system of bridges, tunnels and distributors. In 2007, after the completion of the North Port Freeway, by building road bridges at the most important intersections of the Buenos Aires Freeway

BA is connected to the rest of the country by several roads to the cities of Brookhaven (4,224 km), Sacramento (614 km), Robloxity (421 km) highways are operated through concessions to private parties since their privatization to private companies. In addition, there are free-flowing highways, albeit of lesser quality, linking the capital. In 1914, a subway was opened from South Bloxburg to Central Bloxburg during Robloxian War 2.

The adjoining ports of Bloxburg and North Port form the most significant port complex in North Bloxmerica and one of the most important in the world; both are vital for trade with countries in the Ocean Basin. Other important industries within the city include media, finance, telecommunications, law, medicine and transportation.
