Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered is a remastering of the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare game in stunning high-definition, featuring next generation textures, physically based rendering, high-dynamic range lighting and much more to bring a new generation experience to fans. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is included in the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare.
What game modes come in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered?
Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered will feature the original game’s full, iconic story campaign featuring levels such as “All Ghillied Up,” “Mile High Club,” and “Crew Expendable,” as well as classic multiplayer action with 10 fan-favorite multiplayer maps from the original game available at launch and the additional 6 maps made available by 12/31/16.
What multiplayer maps will be available for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered?
The game will feature 10 fan-favorite maps from the original multiplayer mode at launch, including "Ambush," "Backlot", "Bog," "Crash," "Crossfire," "District," "Downpour," "Overgrown," "Shipment," and "Vacant." The remaining 6 maps ("Bloc," "Countdown," "Pipeline," "Showdown," "Strike," and "Wet Work") will be made available by 12/31/16.
Do I need internet access to play Modern Warfare Remastered?
You need an Internet connection to initially download content. Once Modern Warfare Remastered has been downloaded, you do not need to be connected to the Internet to play/launch the Single Player Campaign or play Multiplayer locally.

For disc-based (physical) Legacy & Legacy Pro Editions of Infinite Warfare on PlayStation™ 4, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download that is redeemed with a voucher code in the box. An Internet connection is required to download content. The game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered.For Digital Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions of Infinite Warfare on PS4, there is no game disc or voucher code. An Internet connection is required to download content. Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare are two separate downloads and there is no requirement to have both installed in order to play either piece of content. No game disc is required if you purchased the Digital Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition of Infinite Warfare.

For disc-based (physical) Legacy & Legacy Pro Editions of Infinite Warfare on Xbox One, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered is included on the Infinite Warfare disc and no voucher code is required. Before Modern Warfare Remastered can be played, an additional download is required. An Internet connection is required to download content. For the disc-based (physical) Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare on Steam, installation discs will be provided along with a Steam Key that will allow you to install both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered. An Internet connection is required to download content. Once content has been installed, you no longer need the installer discs to play content.For Digital Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions of Infinite Warfare on Steam, there is no game disc or voucher code. An Internet connection is required to download content. Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare are two separate downloads and there is no requirement to have both installed in order to play either piece of content. The early access portion of the Modern Warfare Remastered Single Player campaign is specifically for pre-purchasers on PlayStation™ 4. All progress you earn in Campaign will carry over when the Digital Deluxe and Legacy Editions containing Modern Warfare Remastered are released on November 4th.
In preparation for the global launch of the Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare Digital Deluxe and Legacy Editions featuring Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered, your access to the Early Access period of Campaign mode in Modern Warfare Remastered will end on November 3rd prior to launch on November 4th. Once you’ve picked up your disc-based (physical) Legacy or Legacy Pro Edition, you will be required to download the full version of Modern Warfare Remastered, which will restore access to Campaign and include Multiplayer. Your in-game progress gained during the Early Access portion will be saved. For Digital Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition owners, your game will be automatically updated to the full version no later than November 4th, exact times will vary by region.
Will Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered have progression?
Yes, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered will have a full, standalone multiplayer progression system, with the ability to unlock weapons, perks, weapon attachments, and reach Master Prestige.
What storage space is required for the Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare Legacy, Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe Edition?
The estimated storage space required for Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered (Legacy, Digital Deluxe, or Legacy Pro) is a combined 130 GB. This is a high-end estimate, which includes both games, any Day 1 updates, as well as the additional Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer maps to be released before Dec. 31, 2016.
