Last year, the celebration moved through the parks with Thursday at Animal Kingdom, Friday at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Saturday at Magic Kingdom, and Sunday at EPCOT.

You may still have a chance of beating the rush of the crowds if you plan your trip to arrive within the first half of the month. Usually, the largest crowds don't arrive until late June giving you a little leeway as many families wait until their school breaks officially begin before planning their vacation.

June is the rainiest month at Disney World with an average total of 8 inches so come prepared to get a bit wet! The good news is that most summer rainstorms move in and out quickly which usually won't impact your days at the parks too much. Those afternoon showers can also help cool down the parks and bring that average high temperature down a few degrees making the rest of the day a bit more bearable.
