Taking this opportunity to celebrate my sons academic attainment thus far. He graduated from Anne Arundel County Public Schools with (31) college credits, that’s right, repeat that, he earned his Associaties degree a year later during the COVID pandemic. Currently, he is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park double majoring in history and political science. He is on track to graduate May 2023. Yesterday we were informed that he was accepted to the Masters of Arts and International Relations 4+1 Program for the Fall of 2023. I am extremely proud of this fella and I can’t wait to see what he does next! #opportunity #university #schools #proud #momsboy #scholar #terpfamily

As June 6, 1944 commemorates the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we must remember those who fought and sacrificed their lives for our country. On this day, we take a moment to memorialize the former students of Abington Senior High School who gave their lives that day and throughout World War II. These fallen soldiers were teenagers and young adults. Thank you for your service!!
