RING THEORY (2024)

My sister and I were talking and she made a wonderful point.

The original ring that Gabriel used controlled Adrien, supposedly. Now that Felix took it, he uses Emilie’s ring, and it controls Adrien, supposedly.
Now here in Risk, it doesn’t control Adrien but Felix.
We know there’s a story behind these twin rings, we just don’t know it yet.

What if the rings do not contain amoks that can control specific people, but what if they control people in general, or a specific type of person, to do what they want? It would explain how regardless which ring he has or who he’s talking to, it seems to work. It would explain how Gabriel got all his money and power. It would explain how it seems Amelie and Felix are also rich and powerful.

The rings have the power to control or influence to an extent, totally separate from the Peaco*ck Miraculous. Hinting at this story in S3, it wouldn’t be much of one if it was an obvious “They have amoks to control our sentimonster sons”. This is much more mysterious and logical, and wouldn’t upset the fandom like the sentimonster theory, but would still have the same effect.
