Walt Disney World is, without a doubt, a thrill-seeker’s and adventure-lover’s dream!

With over 50 rides, plus even more world-class attractions and shows, it’s no wonder Disney fans travel to Orlando, Florida to visit the amazing Disney Parks.

But which Disney Park has the most rides to offer?

The answer may be surprising–and may affect where you choose to spend your precious vacation time.

Let’s take a look at the four parks and which rides you’ll find in each.

Disney World Rides

When we’re comparing the number of rides at Disney World theme parks, it should be noted that we’re talking actual rides that move, not shows or live entertainment (such as The Festival of the Lion King).

Of course the entertainment in every park is a big draw, but guests looking for action may want to pay attention to these lists so they can plan an extra day at the park with the most rides.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom Park revolves around animals and their habitats. Guests can learn about animals, dinosaurs, and even see wild animals at the Kilimanjaro Safari.

As the newest Disney World park, Animal Kingdom also has the fewest rides to offer–with a total of eight.

For visitors who only have time for one day at a Disney Park, you may want to visit Animal Kingdom.

Because it offers the least amount of rides, you have the best chance of experiencing everything Animal Kingdom has to offer.

Animal Kingdom Park Rides:

  • Avatar Flight of Passage
  • Kali River Rapids
  • DINOSAUR
  • Kilimanjaro Safaris
  • Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
  • Na’vi River Journey
  • TriceraTop Spin
  • Wildlife Express Train

With a total of 8 rides, Animal Kingdom Park is more focused on animal discovery and learning about animals than rides.

However, some of the best rides on Disney World property can be found here.

Epcot

The Epcot Theme Park was built to take guests on a journey around the globe, through learning and discovery, including technologies of the future and cultures from all over the world.

It seems fitting that it should have some of the most educational rides at Walt Disney World, right?

The World Showcase is an area at Epcot where guests can visit several countries without having to travel the globe.

There’s so much going on with many shows, entertainment and unique dining that guests of Disney World will enjoy their time spent here.

In fact, we have a list of the best rides and attractions at Epcot!

But how many rides does Epcot have? Let’s take a look at the rides found in the park:

Epcot Disney World Rides

  • Frozen Ever After
  • Spaceship Earth
  • Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
  • Journey Into Imagination With Figment
  • Living With The Land
  • Test Track
  • Mission: Space
  • Soarin’ Around the World
  • Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
  • The Seas With Nemo & Friends

Epcot is home to 10 rides, making it the second most-visited park.

Walt Disney Imagineers were sure to include classic rides, like Soarin’ Around The World and Test Track as well as new enchanting rides, like Frozen Ever After.

The focus of Epcot is learning and experiencing new things, so it’s no surprise that there are many more activities, shows, and other forms of entertainment than actual rides in this park.

We consider Epcot to be the best Disney park for adults, but it’s also a favorite park if you’re visiting Disney World with toddlers.
